In this article, we will provide comprehensive details on the forthcoming banners, new characters, and potential reruns spanning from Genshin Impact version 4.5 to version 4.8.
Version 4.5 Characters: Chiori and Neuvillette
Patch 4.5 will introduce Chiori, a new five-star Geo sword user, and marks the return of Arataki Itto after over a year, much awaited since patch 4.3. The reruns in this patch may include Kazuha and Neuvillette, confirming that Neuvillette won't rerun alongside Furina, which is disappointing due to the potential combined weapon set.
Additionally, the patch may feature a new Mondstadt region-based banner with Albedo and Eula, with speculation that it may follow the same system as the weapon banner, although there's hope for a different approach. There's also talk of a possible exclusive summoning currency for this banner, although its likelihood is uncertain.
Version 4.6 Characters: Arlecchino and Furina
In version 4.6, Arlecchino, a five-star Pyro character, will be introduced alongside the rerun of Furina, the Hydro archon. The archons typically get reruns four patches after their initial release, which is good news for those who missed Furina's banner. Alhaitham and Nilou will also be featured in the rerun banners, as they are associated with the upcoming semeru festival in 4.6. Additionally, a Liyue banner is expected for 4.6, potentially including characters such as Yelan, Ganyu, Shenhe, and possibly Zhongli, which is highly anticipated.
Version 4.7 Characters: Clorinde and Sigewinne
We will finally have Clorinde in verion 4.7, the five-star Electro sword user, which is my personal most anticipated character alongside Sigewinne, the four-star Hydro bow user. But that's not all, Wriothesley, Lyney, and Kokomi are all possible reruns of this patch. There hasn't been any information about the regional patch for 4.7, so we're just going to have to wait and see because the regional banner might be for Inazuma, Sumeru, or Fontaine.
Version 4.8 Characters: Navia and Tartaglia
Lastly, in 4.8, it is said that Emilie is no longer a character coming out in this patch, and instead, it will only feature reruns of Navia, Wanderer Xianyun, and maybe Tartaglia. Same as 4.7, the regional banner is not confirmed by any sources, so I guess it's either Inazuma, Sumeru, or Fontaine.
