What is Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact is an action RPG game created by miHoYo and published by Cognosphere, also known as HoYoverse, globally. The game has an anime-style open world and an action-based battle system that involves switching between characters and utilizing elemental magic.

After V6.1 was updated, Genshin Impact introduced a brand-new UGC mode — Miliastra Wonderland, which has been highly anticipated since its announcement. This mode allows players to design, generate, and share their own gameplay content with a wide range of development tools.

 

 

What are Genshin Impact Currencies?

Genshin Impact features an extensive currency system vital for character and weapon acquisition, progression, and various in-game activities. These currencies are broadly categorized into premium, wishing, and in-game types.

 

Paid Currency - Genesis Crystals

This is the only currency purchasable exclusively with real-life money from the Genesis Crystal Top-Up Shop(such as Genshin top-up center, LootBar). They are primarily exchanged for Primogems at a 1:1 ratio.

Moreover, Chronal Nexus, the currency of Miliastra Wonderland, is released in Genshin Impact V6.1. Players can use this new premium currency, exclusive to this mode, to obtain their favourite 5-star outfits in the Limited-Time Odes. 

 

Wishing Currencies - Fates

Used for the Wishes (gacha) system to obtain Genshin characters and weapons. There are two types: Acquaint Fate (for standard, permanently available Wishes) and Intertwined Fate (for special, limited-time event Wishes). Both types can be acquired using Primogems, Adventure Rank rewards, quests, events, Battle Pass, or monthly purchases via Masterless Stardust.

 

 

In-Game Currencies

Primogems: A main premium currency, Primogems are primarily used for Wishes or to replenish Original Resin.

Other game currencies, such as Mora, Elemental Sigils, Masterless Stardust, Masterless Starglitter, Original Resin, Fragile Resin, Stella Fortunas, Dream Solvent, Experience Materials, and Realm Currency, will not be introduced in detail one by one, and players can experience them from the game.

 

 

How to get Genshin Genesis Crystals and Primogems?

Genshin Genesis Crystals: Premium currency. It can only be obtained by recharging in the game top-up store using real money. However, be aware that there are different buy methods and prices for recharges on different channels/platforms/regions. 

For the in-game shop, you can navigate to the [Shop] option in the [Menu] and recharge through the [Crystal Top-Up] section.
