Zenless Zone Zero 2.6 "Champions Never Fall to the Past" will release on March 24, 2026.

According to Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 Special Programme, Nangong Yu and Cissia will be the featured new playable agents in this update—Nangong Yu in Phase 1, and Cissia in Phase 2. As for reruns, Yidhari and Seed finally make their return in this update.

ZZZ 2.7 New Characters
Nangong Yu
Nangong Yu is an Ether Stun Agent who specialises in applying Daze and Anomaly to enemies, and providing powerful buffs for her teamates. She is able to increase her Impact for every point of Anomaly Mastery past 100, making her capable of building up the Anomaly bar easily while also stunning enemies surprisingly quickly. When Nangong is in the team, stunned enemies will receive 1 stack of Vibrato for each Abloom/Anomaly/Disorder applied; upon accumulating 5 stacks of Vibrato or recovering from stun while affected by Vibrato, enemies will be hit with an Abloom attack, with its damage increasing by 10% per stack of Vibrato. Nangong can also increase her own Anomaly Proficiency by 100, as well as the whole squad's DMG dealt by 30%, enemies' stun duration by 3 seconds and enemies' stun DMG Multiplier by 30% with her Core Skill.
Her additional Core ability is activated when she's paired with an Agent of the same faction or an Anomaly charcter. With it, any squad member's attacks that hit Stunned enemies increase Anomaly Buildup Rate by 20%, and Chain Attacks that hit Stunned enemies increase Anomaly Buildup Rate by an additional 40%. When any squad member inflicts Daze on an enemy, Nangong Yu gains 2 stacks of Dance Prowess, up to 2 stacks max. While Dance Prowess is active, using an EX Special Attack, charged Basic Attack, or Quick Assist consumes 1 stack of Dance Prowess. When that skill's heavy attack hits an enemy suffering from Attribute Anomaly and Daze, it triggers a special Disorder effect called Polarity Disorder, which deals 40% of the original Disorder DMG to the target.
Cissia
Cissia is an Electric Attack Agent who serves as a DPS character in combat. She is able to deal massive amount of damage in short bursts and provide buffs to her teamates through her Core Skill, with those having the same element as her receiving the most out of it, that being a 25% DEF Shred for Electric DMG; as well as 30% Crit DMG for the entire squad, provided that her additional Core Skill is activated, while Cissia herself receiving an amazing 50% Crit DMG. Her playstyle revolves around managing Venom to trigger Corrode Bone. Venom is gained through many ways: landing her 4th Basic Attack; attacking a Stunned enemy; activating EX Special; and activating certain Mindscape effects. Upon hitting an enemy, all stacks of Venom is consumed to trigger Corrode Bone, dealing Electric DMG overtime to both the struck enemy and nearby targets, Corrode Bone also receives a bonus 40%/60% in Daze when there are 1/2 Electric characters in the squad.

2-Piece Set: HP +10%4-Piece Set: When the equipper is a Defense character: When the equipper launches an EX Special Attack or any squad member triggers a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist, all squad members' DMG increases by 6%, stacking up to 3 times, lasting 25s. Stacks decay one at a time, and duration refreshes when gained or decayed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
Notes From the Chained
2-Piece Set: Ice DMG +10%.4-Piece Set: When the equipper triggers Abloom, their Anomaly Proficiency increases by 48 for 30s; repeated triggers reset the duration. When the equipper triggers a Freeze effect, their All-Attribute Anomaly DMG and Disorder DMG increase by 16% for 30s; repeated triggers reset the duration.
