  • Cissia Overview

Cissia is an Electric Attack Agent who serves as a DPS character in combat. She is able to deal massive amount of damage in short bursts and provide buffs to her teamates through her Core Skill, with those having the same element as her receiving the most out of it, that being a 25% DEF Shred for Electric DMG; as well as 30% Crit DMG for the entire squad, provided that her additional Core Skill is activated, while Cissia herself receiving an amazing 50% Crit DMG. Her playstyle revolves around managing Venom to trigger Corrode Bone. Venom is gained through many ways: landing her 4th Basic Attack; attacking a Stunned enemy; activating EX Special; and activating certain Mindscape effects. Upon hitting an enemy, all stacks of Venom is consumed to trigger Corrode Bone, dealing Electric DMG overtime to both the struck enemy and nearby targets, Corrode Bone also receives a bonus 40%/60% in Daze when there are 1/2 Electric characters in the squad.

Cissia Skill Priority

Below are the best skill priorities for Cissia:

SkillPriority
Core Skill Core Skill★★★★★ (Top)
Basic Attack Basic Attack★★★★ (Top)
Chain Attack Chain Attack★★★★ (Top)
Special Attack Special Attack★★★ (High)
Dodge Dodge (Low)
Assist Assist (Low)

Cissia's Core Skill gives the most value per upgrade, which is why it is prioritized over the others. Her Basic Attack and Chain Attack can be upgraded next, as they are her main source of damage. Afterwards, you should upgrade her Special Attack, though its benefits are comparatively smaller compared to the previous skills and therefore lower in priority. Final on the list are her Dodge and Assist skill; they don't contribute much to her overall damage, but you should still upgrade them nonetheless if you plan to use her as your main DPS.

Cissia Best W-Engines

Cissia is an Attack character. Therefore, she wants as much ATK, Crit DMG and Crit Rate as possible. Her Core Skill also scales on Energy Regen, so you'll have to consider it as well when building her. Unsurprisingly, her Signature W-Engine, Serpentine Seeker stands out as her best option by a considerably large margin; if you're planning to make Cissia as strong as possible, it's recommended you secure this W-Engine.

Cissia Best Teams

Cissia works best when paired with another Electric or Physical character, because that's when her Additional Core Ability is activated and her element-related buffs come to play.

1. Dual Attacker Team

Seed, Harumasa and Soldier 0 - Anby synergise really well with Cissia, as they're all Electric charaters - fully benefitting from Cissia's Core Skill as well as her Additional Ability.

Although Zhu Yuan and Qingyi are old characters who aren't as competitive as they used to be, they can still be played thanks to Cissia's buffs. This team might not be as good as her other premium teams, but it's worth a try if you want to pick up old characters again.

Cissia Mindscape Cinema

M1: Traveler and Prey
  • Rating: ★★★★ (Great)
  • Effect: The Venom gained upon entering the battlefield increases to 6. The DEF ignore from the Core Passive increases to 140% of its original value, and all squad members ignore 5% of the target's Electric RES. Corrode Bone DMG ignores 10% of the target's Electric RES.
  • This Mindscape provides 6 instances of Venom for Cissia when you enter a fight, potentially lowering clear time and increasing your overall score. In addition, it gives a considerable amount of DEF shred to both Cissia and her teamates, making it quite valuable.
M2: Hunger and Hard Truths
  • Rating: ★★★★ (Great)
  • Effect: After a Chain Attack: Gang Operation or Ultimate: Ophidiophobia hits a Stunned enemy, gain an additional 3 Venom. Basic Attack: Serpent's Kiss deals 35% increased DMG.
  • The increased Venom gain from stun windows combined with the 35% boost in DMG for her held Basic Attack give Cissia a huge spike in her DPS, this is especially powerful against enemies that have a high Daze resistance and/or a low Stun duration.
M3: Chains and a Warm Nest
  • Rating: ★ (Good)
  • Effect: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • This Mindscape only offers numerical skill level increases and a minimal increase in Cissia's overall damage.
M4: A Rogue's Resolve
  • Rating: ★★★ (Pretty Good)
  • Effect: When using an EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate, gain 1 stack of Decidedness, stacking up to 3 times. When using Basic Attack: Serpent's Kiss, consume all Decidedness. Each stack consumed triggers 1 special instance of Corrode Bone that does not consume Venom. This Corrode Bone does not cause Daze.
  • Although this Mindscape gives Cissia a new way to land Corrode Bone more frequently, it doesn't give as big of a change in her overall DPS as her first two Mindscapes, making it slightly lower in terms of rating.
M5: False Evidence and Fangs
  • Rating: ★ (Good)
  • Effect: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • This Mindscape is Identical to Cissia's Mindscape 3, it only offers numerical skill level increases and a minimal increase in her overall damage.
M6: Home and Sixth Street
  • Rating: ★★★★★ (Best)
  • Effect: Each time Corrode Bone is triggered, gain 1 stack of Bone-Deep Corrosion. When attacks from any squad member, other than Corrode Bone, hit an enemy, consume 1 stack of Bone-Deep Corrosion to trigger 1 special Corrode Bone. This instance of Corrode Bone cannot inflict Daze, and at most 1 stack of Bone-Deep Corrosion can be consumed every 3s.
  • With the help of Mindscape 4's increased Corrode Bone application, this Mindscape significantly upgrade Cissia's personal damage. With the right rotation, you can achieve an amazing DPS thanks to its low cooldown of 3 seconds.
