Wuthering Waves Version 2.4 "Lightly We Toss the Crown" is scheduled for release on June 12th (UTC+8).
WuWa 2.4 Banner Overview
The 2.4 update will introduce two new characters, Cartethyia and Lupa. Cartethyia is set to debut in Phase 1, while Lupa will arrive in Phase 2.

WuWa 2.4 New Characters
Cartethyia
Cartethyia is a 5-star Aero Resonator who wields a Sword. In battle, she can shift between two forms: Cartethyia and Fleurdelys.
As Cartethyia:
- The last Stage of Basic Attack, Heavy Attack, Concerto Skills, and Resonance Skill of Cartethyia will summon different Sword Shadows.
- When Sword Shadows are present on the field, using a Plunging Attack will recall them, dealing additional damage based on the number and types of Sword Shadows retrieved.
As Fleurdelys:
- When Cartethyia’s Resonance Energy is full, using Resonance Liberation allows her to transform into Fleurdelys.
- Upon transforming, she gains bonus effects depending on the types of Sword Shadows recalled.
- While in this form, her attacks generate Conviction. When Conviction reaches 120 points, she can unleash Resonance Liberation: Blade of Howling Squall, delivering a powerful finishing move.

Lupa
Lupa is a 5-star Fusion and Broadblade Resonato who excels as a support in Fusion teams, while also dealing solid personal damage.
Support Ability:

Lupa's Resonance Liberation grants the team the Pack Hunt and Glory effects:
- Pack Hunt increases all teammates' DMG by 6%. When the active character uses an Intro Skill, the bonus increases by another 6%, stacking up to 18%.
- Glory allows all teammates to ignore 3–9% Fusion RES, depending on the number of Fusion Resonators in the team. With three Fusion characters, they ignore an additional 6% Fusion RES.

Lupa's Outro Skill buffs the next Resonator with +20% Fusion DMG and +25% Basic Attack DMG.

In this update, we will also welcome three new Echo Aspects: Premium Aspect: Dawn upon Thorns (Glide), Premium Aspect: Dawn upon Thorns (Flight), and Exploration Aspect: Moment of Triumph (Flight).
Premium Aspect: Dawn upon Thorns (Glide), and Premium Aspect: Dawn upon Thorns (Flight) can be obtained through the in-game store.
Exploration Aspect: Moment of Triumph (Flight) can be obtained free by participating in special events.
New Echo Sets
Flaming Clawprint
2 Pc: Fusion DMG + 10%.
4 Pc: Casting Resonance Liberation increases Fusion DMG of Resonators in the team by 15% and the caster's Resonance Liberation DMG by 20%, lasting for 35s.
Windward Pilgrimage
2 Pc: Aero DMG + 10%.
4 Pc: Hitting a target with Aero Erosion increases Crit. Rate by 10% and grants 30% Aero DMG Bonus, lasting for 10s.
