How to Play Whiteout Survival Fishing Tournament
The main part of this activity is this mini-game. When you begin the game, your hook will continue to dive into the water. It would help to avoid the fish on the way down until you reach the bottom. Then your hook will start on the fish's head to catch them, aim for the rarest to make it worthwhile!
Two Different Fishing Options
The Fishing Tournament has two different fishing options: Ice Fishing and Frosty Prospector.
1. Ice Fishing
Ice Fishing is the default option for players to play. When the Fishing Tournament begins, you receive 5 baits right away. After that, you automatically receive one bait every 3 hours, and you can have a maximum of 10 baits.
2. Frosty Prospector
Frosty Prospector requires 1 Treasure Chart per attempt. Treasure Charts are relatively rare and can only be obtained in two ways: purchasing them as part of the Fishing Pro Set or achieving milestones in the Ice Fishing Club. Frosty Prospector will provide access to an exotic area filled with rare fish and Sunken Chests.
Upgrade Your Fishing Kit
There are three essential items in the Fishing Kit: Line, Hook, and Sinker in the Fishing Kit. You can also upgrade your fishing kit with fishing tokens.
Line
You can boost your maximum line depth by upgrading your line. And most valuable fishes are typically found at greater depths.
Hook
You can upgrade your hook to boost your maximum haul per attempt.
Sinker
The Sinker determines the initial depth at which you start fishing. When the sinker reaches full level, you can safely begin fishing from 150-meter-deep water.
Special Items
These four special items can enhance your fishing experience.
Horn of Poseidon
Horn of Poseidon can summon a specific type of fish; the rest is up to your skills.
Reel Stabilizer
A Reel Stabilizer can Prevent your line from immediately reeling in when you accidentally hit a fish on the way down. It can protect your hook two more times.
Ocean Scanner
Ocean Scanner monitors nearby fish and emits a special signal when rare fishes are present.
Lantern
Use a Lantern to provide light at depths of 300m. It can increase your visibility.
Guides in Fishing Tournament
There are four types of guides in Fishing Tournament: Fish Guide, Diver Guide, Chest Guide, and Memorabilia Guide. Each guide provides a Star Rating and Gems when you catch a fish, chest, memorabilia, or diver for the first time. You can use it to unlock chests with rewards. And if you successfully collect all guides, you will receive special Skin rewards!
Fish Guide
The Fish Guide tracks the different species you catch during the tournament. Each new fish you catch for the first time is recorded in the guide, awarding you a Star Rating and Gems. Completing the Fish Guide can unlock special rewards and is a key goal for serious competitors.
Diver Guide
The Diver Guide keeps a record of any divers you discover while fishing. Like the Fish Guide, it offers rewards for each discovery. Finding all the divers can lead to unique rewards unavailable through other means.
Chest Guide
The Chest Guide tracks the Sunken Chests you retrieve from the depths. Each chest contains valuable items, and the guide provides additional rewards for completing the collection. These chests are often found in the Frosty Prospector mode.
Memorabilia Guide
The Memorabilia Guide is a collection of rare items that can be found during the tournament. Collecting all the items in this guide will reward you with special Skins, offering both cosmetic and practical benefits in the game.
Ice Fishing Club
The Ice Fishing Club part contains unlocked milestone rewards based on the number of punches you land in the Fishing Tournament event.
·Fish to earn Fishing Points and level up during the event.
·Buy higher membership tiers to unlock special benefits, boosting your Token and Point earning.
·The buffs from Fishing Pro and Fishing Master are stacked.
·Unclaimed rewards will be mailed.
