Three new characters of Version 5.0 Banners
The character artwork from Natlan has undergone a significant transformation. Previously, the characters' poses were more reserved and staged. Now, the Natlan character artwork features dynamic text design and lively, candid poses, giving off a vibrant feel.
Mualani
Mualani is a Hydro character who wields a Catalyst. As a five-star character, she is a powerful DPS with high mobility.
When unleashing her Elemental Skill, Mualani will enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state and use her surfboard to move swiftly until Nightsoul points are depleted. When Nightsoul points are insufficient, she will consume Phlogiston to maintain the state. During this period, if Mualani collides with enemies, she will apply a mark to them and gain a special Energy recharge to increase the DMG of her Normal Attacks against marked enemies. After her Normal Attack hits, she will launch missiles at all marked enemies. Mualani's Elemental Burst fires off a Super Shark Missile, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.

One interesting aspect of her abilities, showcased in the Natlan preview teaser, is her swift movement on water, which will appeal to players who enjoy exploration.
Kinich
Kinich is a Dendro character who wields a Claymore. As a five-star character, he is a powerful DPS with high mobility.
When casting his Elemental Skill, Kinich will enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state and use a grappling hook to link with enemies. In this state, he can accumulate Nightsoul points through various methods such as Loop Shots. When Nightsoul points are full, Kinich can expend them to unleash the powerful "Scalespiker Cannon," dealing Dendro DMG.
His Elemental Burst summons the Almighty Dragonlord, Ajaw, who will periodically unleash his Dragon Breath, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.

Kachina
As a four-star Geo polearm user, Kachina is also a versatile DMG dealer who can flexibly choose to deal DMG on or off the battlefield.
After using her Elemental Skill, Kachina can summon Turbo Twirly to fight alongside her. By performing Normal Attacks while riding Turbo Twirly or when Turbo Twirly is independent of Kachina, it will slam the ground, dealing AoE Geo DMG to enemies. Her Elemental Burst creates a Turbo Drill Field that strikes the ground, which increases Turbo Twirly's attack AoE and its Movement SPD within its range.

Besides combat abilities, Turbo Twirly also suggests strong open-world performance. It can allow Kachina to move quickly on land and climb efficiently.
All three characters have notable open-world abilities: Mualani’s shark enables swift water mobility, Kinich’s pixelated dragon may assist with aerial movement, and Kachina’s ground driller allows for fast land and climbing mobility. This indicates that Natlan will emphasize open-world exploration with a richly designed and engaging map. What do you think?
