Everything About Chevreuse Genshin: Recommended Weapons, Artifacts & Teams

Unveil the mystery of Genshin Impact Chevreuse—a character whose power and intrigue are undeniable. This guide equips you with essential weapons, artifacts, and team strategies to unleash Chevreuse Genshin true potential. Prepare for an adventure that'll showcase her strategic impact on Teyvat's battlefronts!

Recommended Weapons

Playing Chevreuse on damage isn’t ideal since her damage is underwhelming. While on paper she seems to deal a lot of damage, that damage comes with very long cooldowns, making Chevreuse’s role lean towards Support instead of DPS. In conclusion, weapons that help Chevreuse deal more damage will always rank lower than Polearms that allow her to shine as a Pyro Support in Genshin Impact.

Therefore, when choosing a weapon for Chevreuse in Genshin Impact, players should prioritize HP or Energy Recharge equipment compared to offensive stats like Crits.

1. The Catch

Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK

Secondary Stat: 45.9% Energy Recharge

R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 32% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 12%.

Plenty of Chevreuse's damage comes from her Elemental Burst. Using the Catch can increase that damage because its Energy Recharge allows Chevreuse to use her Elemental Burst more frequently.

2. Engulfing Lightning

Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK

Secondary Stat: 55.1% Energy Recharge

Engulfing Lightning is the better version of The Catch in Genshin Impact. Chevreuse gains a huge amount of Energy Recharge and the more Energy you stack on her, the more damage she will deal with her Elemental Skill and Burst.

3. Staff of the Scarlet Sands

Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK

Secondary Stat: 44.1% CRIT Rate

R1 Effect: The equipping character gains 52% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK. When an Elemental Skill hits opponents, the Dream of the Scarlet Sands effect will be gained for 10s: The equipping character will gain 28% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK. Max 3 stacks.

Since Chevreuse can play with Overloaded teams in Genshin Impact, giving her Staff of the Scarlet Sands allows players to slightly benefit from any Elemental Mastery she has or gets during combat. Other than that, the Polearm massively increases her Crit Rate, which makes it more comfortable to stack more Crit DMG.

Recommended Artifacts

As a support character who provides an attack bonus based on her own maximum HP, Chevreuse has the following artifact recommendations.

1. Tenacity of the Millelith

A two-piece set that provides an HP bonus and a four-piece set that grants an attack bonus to the team's characters after hitting enemies with Elemental Skill.

The HP bonus from the two-piece set aligns well with Chevreuse's reliance on maximum HP. However, the damage bonus effect from the four-piece set is short-lived, and since Chevreuse's Elemental Skill does not have sustained damage, this damage boost is usually only maximized in Chevreuse's typical team compositions.

2. Noblesse Oblige

A two-piece set provides a damage bonus to Elemental Burst, and a four-piece set, after activating Elemental Burst, grants an attack bonus to all characters in the party. The damage bonus effect of the four-piece set lasts much longer compared to other artifacts.

Team Matching

According to Chevreuse's talents, Chevreuse's team composition primarily focuses on an Electro-Hydro team. Here is a recommended team composition for Chevreuse:

Raiden Shogun as the main DPS, Sangonomiya Kokomi for increased damage and the ability to provide dual Electro buffs with Raiden Shogun, Xiangling for continuous Pyro damage with her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst to trigger Overloaded reactions in conjunction with Raiden Shogun, and Chevreuse for increased damage and healing with his Elemental Skill, as well as providing dual Hydro buffs with Xiangling.
