Brief Introduction

Tsukishiro Yanagi, an S-Rank Electric Anomaly Agent from Section 6, showcases her combat prowess with a naginata perfectly suited to her slender frame. Her electrifying attacks and dynamic stance-switching mechanics make her a formidable opponent on the battlefield. In combat, Yanagi seamlessly alternates between two different styles, allowing her moves and buffs to adapt based on her current stance. Maintaining a rhythm in switching stances enables her to continuously benefit from various buffs, enhancing her overall effectiveness. Each time she deals damage with a Basic Attack after switching stances, her Anomaly Buildup increases, setting the stage for her devastating EX Special Attack. Upon activation, she enters the Shinrabanshou state, executing a powerful forward stab followed by a downward strike that deals Electric damage. If her target is affected by an Anomaly, Yanagi triggers a special Disorder effect without removing the Anomaly, while simultaneously granting herself a powerful buff, making her a key asset in any team composition.

ZENLESS ZONE ZERO - YANAGI

Yanagi Skill Priority

Tsukishiro Yanagi, as an electric attribute character, mainly performs special attacks to switch between two stances and use the buffs of both. The EX Special Attack allows her to enter the Shinrabanshou state, where she continuously performs Electric attacks that accumulate Electric Anomaly Buildup as well as Polarity Disorder to deal damage. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade the special Attack and Ultimate first to increase the damage from Polarity Disorder in addition to regular damage and Daze Multipliers, increasing Yanagi's overall damage. Then, upgrading the Basic Attack could be considered, as it still has a high proportion of overall damage.

In conclusion, upgrade Yanagi's skills in the forllowing order: Core Skill > Special Attack >= Assist > Basic Attack = Chain Attack = Dodge.

ZENLESS ZONE ZERO - YANAGI SKILL PRIORITY

Yanagi Best W-Engines

For Yanagi, the signature W-Engine "Timeweaver" is particularly recommended, and "Fusion Compiler" and "Electro-Lip Gloss" are also good options. "Tmeweaver" increases Electro Anomaly Proficiency and significantly increases the Disorder DMG.

1. Best Choice: Timeweaver

Yanagi Best Drive Discs

1. For Anomaly Yanagi

To build the Anomaly Yanagi, we should choose Drive Discs that can maximize her Anomaly damage. So we can choose the 4-PC Chaos Jazz and 2-PC Freedom Blues. Chaos Jazz can boost Yanagi's Anomaly Proficiency, ElectrIc DMG, EX Special Attack, which is tailor-made for Yanagi. Freedom Blues can further improving Yanagi's Anomaly Profiency, enhancing her Anomaly damage.

Chaos Jazz

Chaos Jazz

2-Pc: Anomaly Proficiency +30
4-Pc: Fire DMG and Electric DMG increases by 15%. While off-field, EX Special Attack and Assist Attack DMG increases by 20%. When switching on-field, this buff continues for 5s, and this continuation effect can trigger once every 7.5s.

Freier Blues

Freedom Blues

2-Pc: Anomaly Proficiency +30

2. For Mono DPS Yanagi

If your Yanagi mainly deals Electric regular damage instead of Anomaly damage, it is recommended to equip her with the 4-PC "Thunder Metal". "Thunder Metal" improves Electric damage and atk while an enemy in combat is Shocked, which suits Yanagi's needs.

After that, the 2-PC "Chaos Jazz" or "Freedom Blues" is also ideal match, both of which increase Yanagi's Anomaly Proficiency by 30.

Gewitter-Metal

Thunder Metal

2-Pc: Electric DMG +10%
4-Pc: As long as an enemy in combat is Shocked, the equipper's ATK is increased by 28%.

Yanagi Best Teams

When it comes to team composition, Yanagi is a great fit with both Burnice and Grace. She can either form a dual-core DPS duo with Burnice on the Anomaly team or act as the main DPS on Electric Mono team. Here are three recommended teams:

1.  Yanagi + Burnice + Caesar

Yanagi Team

In this team, Yanagi and Burnice share the role of DPS, relying on their powerful Anomaly damage to quickly take out opponents. In addition to her high damage output, Caesar brings additional stability to the team. Not only does she improve the group's survivability through her defensive powers, but she also increases the damage of the entire team. This allows Yanagi and Burnice to further maximize their attack effectiveness.

2. Yanagi + Burnice + Rina

Yaniga Team

Burnice and Yanagi also work together in this team. Here they are supported by Rina, who offers Yanagi high PEN and increased electric damage. Compared to the first team, survivability may be a little lower, but the efficiency of Electric Anomaly Buildup accumulation is significantly increased, resulting in faster and more powerful electric-based attacks.

Conclusion

Overall, Yanagi is an extremely versatile character who can combine with different characters, form strong teams, and is therefore a valuable addition to any player's roster.
