S-Rank Agent Phaethon Pyrois

Who is Pyrois?

Pyrois is the combat avatar of Phaethon. The player's own character. Awakened through the events of Version 3.0. Tied to the power hidden within Phaethon's eyes and the legacy of Helios Academy, Pyrois represents a new chapter in the sibling protagonists' story, one that may finally shed light on what happened during their time at the Academy. Unlike traditional Agents, who are separate characters the player pulls and deploys, Pyrois is unique. They are Phaethon itself, stepping directly onto the battlefield.

Pyrois Combat Role

Pyrois is an S-Rank Ether Attack Agent. Pyrois enters the Ether Attack space, currently home to agent Zhu Yuan, bringing a story-driven angle to the roster. As the first Agent that is literally the player themselves, Pyrois is a must-watch for both lore enthusiasts and players looking to explore the Ether Attack playstyle. Their full kit is yet to be officially revealed, so details on their exact role in combat are still forthcoming.

S-Rank Agent Velina Airgrid

Velina Banner Schedule

  • Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Phase 1

Who is Velina?

Velina is the head of the External Strategy Department in Roscaelifer, the hidden sky city making its debut in Version 3.0. She serves as the official guide to the floating city. She is described as a highly efficient problem solver who handles everything from stubborn paperwork to unruly adults with the same calm, calculated approach, but just don't expect her methods to be conventional.

Velina Combat Role

Velina Airgid is an S-Rank Wind Anomaly Agent and a historic one at that, as the very first Wind attribute Agent in Zenless Zone Zero. She pioneers an entirely new elemental space, with no existing Wind Anomaly units to compare her to yet. Players curious about the Wind attribute or looking to be at the forefront of a brand new playstyle will want to keep a close eye on Velina once her full kit is officially revealed.

S-Rank Agent Norma Hollowell

Norma Banner Schedule

  • Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Phase 2

Who is Norma?

Norma is the Chief Technician of the External Strategy Department in Roscaelifer, working alongside Velina. She's energetic, unpredictable, and runs entirely on the philosophy that "destruction is the mother of creation," which is exactly why the ESD hallways are lined with fire suppression systems every thirty meters. Don't let the cheerful chaos fool you, though; Norma is a serious technician with a prized weapons stash and the battle sequences to back it up.

Norma Combat Role

Norma is an S-Rank Fire Stun Agent. She joins the Stun lineup and brings a Fire attribute angle to the role, complementing existing Stun units like Qingyi and Lighter.

Conclusion

Version 3.0 is stacking up to be a big one. Three new roster additions, a brand new playstyle with Velina leading the charge on Wind Anomaly, Norma shaking up the Stun lineup, and Pyrois doing something no Agent has ever done before. There's a lot to plan for start thinking about your pulls now, and keep an eye out for kit reveals.
