Pulchra Overview

Pulchra is an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent who specialises in applying consistent Daze while remaining off-field, allowing other characters to shine on the battlefield. She does this through the Hunter's Gait state: when another active character in the squad hits an enemy with a Special Attack or EX Special Attack, Pulchra will perform up to 5 (or 7 with Mindscape 6) piercing attacks against the struck enemy every time they're hit, these attacks count as Special Attacks. To enter this state, you have to activate her EX Special Attack, Chain Attack / Ultimate or Assist Follow-up. Pulchra's gameplay revolves around entering the Hunter's Gait and applying Daze while another character stays on-field.

Pulchra gains additional Daze when entering the Hunter's Gait state with her Core Skill, maximising at a great 30%, making it highly recommended to be upgraded first. Next, you should consider upgrading her Special Attack and Chain Attack, as they both contribute quite a lot in her gameplay, being the main way she enters the Hunter's Gait state as well as a big part of her Daze output. Pulchra's Assist skill comes after, offering decent benefits but not to the extent of her previously mentioned skills due to its situational use. Lastly, her Basic Attack and Dodge skill should only be upgraded once other skills of higher priority have been properly developed, though bear in mind she won't be using them much in combat.

Pulchra Best W-Engines

As a Stun character, Pulchra wants as much Impact as possible, and thanks to how versatile the Hunter's Gait state can be activated, she doesn't necessarily require Energy Regen, opening up her W-Engine options by quite a lot. Blazing Laurel (S-Rank)	Base ATK: 713 Bonus Stat: Impact 18% W-Engine Effect (R1): Upon launching a Quick Assist or Perfect Assist, the equipper's Impact increases by 25% for 8s. When the equipper launches and hits an enemy with a Basic Attack, apply Wilt to the target for 30s, stacking up to 20 times, repeated triggers reset the duration. When any squad member hits an enemy, for every stack of Wilt applied to the target, the CRIT DMG of the Ice DMG and Fire DMG dealt by that attack increases by 1.5%. Only one of this effect can be active at a time in the same squad.
Steam Oven (A-Rank)	Base ATK: 594 Bonus Stat: Energy Regen 50% W-Engine Effect (R5): For every 10 Energy accumulated, the equipper's Impact is increased by 3.2%, stacking up to 8 times. Pulchra is best suited for the King of the Summit Drive Disk Set as the 4-piece choice, as it synergizes with her perfectly, offering an increase in Daze as well as an amazing team-wide Crit DMG buff. For her 2-piece choice, you can choose from Shockstar Disco and Swing Jazz depending on the stats she needs.

2. Pulchra Free To Play Teams

Due to there being no free Aftershock character, Pulchra can't make the most out of her kit with free to play teams if you do not have her Mindscape 6. This Mindscape provides Pulchra with an additional 10% Crit Rate when attacking enemies inflicted with Binding Trap, which makes it always active if you're playing properly, increasing her DPS. However, the Mindscape doesn't affect her Daze application, making it not too good.

Effect: Reduces Energy Cost of activating EX Special Attack: Rending Claw - Flashstep by 5.
This Mindscape is pretty great for Pulchra. The decreased cost for EX Special allows her to enter the Hunter's Gait state more frequently, resulting in a higher overall Daze application.

Effect: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
Identical to Pulchra's Mindscape 3, only offering numerical skill level increases but is a pretty good upgrade in practice.

M6: Behind the Mask

Effect: Special Attack: Rending Claw - Nightmare Shadow's DMG is increased by 15%, and the number of times the repeated attack can trigger is increased by 2. Additional Ability: Business Partner's Binding Trap effect now also applies to all damage types, not just Aftershock DMG.
This Mindscape offers the biggest increase in both Pulchra's DPS and Daze application, as well the whole squad's overall DMG. Her being able to attack 2 more times during the Hunter's Gait state may sound small, but it's a game changer. That, and her Additional Core Ability now boosting every type of DMG by an amazing 30%.
