  • Nicole Overview

Nicole is an A-Rank Ether and Support Agent who specializes in applying debuffs to targets. In combat, she gains enhanced bullets through the use of Special Attack, EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, and Ultimate. These enhanced bullets can then be consumed via her Basic Attack and Dash Attack to increase the power of the aforementioned attacks. Upon hitting targets with an enhanced attack, her Core Ability will activate, giving a DEF reduction debuff of up to 40% to them for 3.5 seconds. When paired with a fellow Ether or Cunning Hares Agent, Nicole can activate her Additional Ability, making those targets take an additional 25% Ether damage.

Another mechanic Nicole possesses is the ability to generate Energy Fields, which linger on the field for a short period of time, pull enemies towards them, and trigger her Core Ability’s debuff. This can be done through her EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, and Ultimate. Nicole can also trigger Quick Assist after any Energy Field moves, further improving team rotations. Additionally, the Quick Assist via her Ultimate will also grant extra energy to the next ally swapping in. Her core gameplay revolves around tagging enemies to apply her debuff and letting your main damage dealer shine. Overall, she’s an incredibly versatile Support.

Nicole Skill Priority

Below are the best skill priorities for Nicole:

SkillPriority
Core Skill Core Skill★★★★★ (Top)
Chain Attack Chain Attack★★★★ (Top)
Special Attack Special Attack★★★★ (Top)
Basic Attack Basic Attack★★ (Low)
Dodge Dodge (Low)
Assist Assist (Low)

Nicole’s Core Passive: Mechanical Case reduces enemies’ Defense by a massive 40% once maxed, making it her top priority. Her Chain Attack and Special Attack come next, as you’ll be using them the most. Despite not contributing much to Nicole’s overall damage, her Basic Attack should still be upgraded once you’re done with her prioritized skills since she has to keep up her debuffs with Basic Attacks. Finally, her Dodge and Assist skill can be safely skipped, Nicole works best as an off-field support who only goes on-field to refresh her debuffs, so it is unlikely you’ll be using those two skills.

Nicole Best W-Engines

As a Support character who mainly gets her values from the use of EX Specials, Nicole wants as much Energy Regen as possible, as well as ATK for more damage contribution. Any Support W-Engines providing those two stats will complement her playstyle, which gives her several viable W-Engine options. Unsurprisingly, her signature W-Engine - The Vault - stands out as the best option, perfectly synergizing with her normal rotation. Therefore, it is advisable you use her signature W-Engine for the best performance.

Nicole Best Drive Disc Sets

As Nicole uses her EX Special a lot, she’s well suited for the Moonlight Lullaby Drive Disk Set. Another competitive option is Astral Voice if you pair her with another teammate who can activate Quick Assists consistently, as Nicole herself sometimes struggle to keep up Astral stacks due to her high Energy requirement for the activation of EX Special. Swing Jazz is also a viable 4-piece set for its team DMG buff. For Nicole’s 2-piece set, you can choose from Phaethon's Melody, Astral Voice and Freedom Blues, depending on the stats she needs.
