  • Jane Doe Overview

Jane is a S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent who excels at dealing consistent burst DMG through Assaults—triggered by filling the target's Anomaly bar, and Disorders—triggered when applying Attribute Anomaly to an enemy already inflicted by another type of Attribute Anomaly. Her gameplay revolves around accumilating a special resource called "Passion Stream", to enter the Passion state, when she'll receive most of her buffs. Passion Stream is gained through performing Perfect DodgePerfect Assist, and dealing DMG to enemies. Upon accumilating enough Passion Stream, Jane enters the Passion state, increasing her Anomaly Buildup Rate by 25% and ATK by up to 600, she also gains one use of Basic Attack: Salchow Jump, this attack can be performed by holding her Basic Attack and replenishes her Passion Stream when hitting an enemy.

The special thing about Jane is that when she hits an enemy, that enemy enters the Gnawed state, which makes ANY instances of Assault on that enemy be able to Crit, dealing 150% of the original Assault DMG. The chances of this effect happening are determined by Jane's Core Skill, with the base Crit Rate being 40% at max Core level, and each point of Jane's Anomaly Proficiency also further increases this CRIT Rate by 0.16%.

Jane Doe Overview

Jane Doe Skill Priority

Below are the best skill priorities for Jane Doe:

SkillPriority
Core Skill Core Skill★★★★★ (Top)
Basic Attack Basic Attack★★★★ (Top)
Chain Attack Chain Attack★★★ (High)
Special Attack Special Attack★★★★ (Top)
Dodge Dodge★★★ (High)
Assist Assist (Low)

Jane's Core Skill allows her Physical Anomaly to be able to trigger a Critical hit, with each upgrade further increasing its Crit Rate, making it the primary focus. Being an Anomaly character, her main source of damage comes from her Anomaly procs, which don't scale on skill levels, so keep in mind that general skill upgrades don't have as much impact. That aside, her Basic Attack and Special Attack come next, as both are frequently used in combat. Chain Attack and Dodge are placed in a secondary tier, offering some benefits but don't matter as much as her previous skills. Jane's Assist skill comes last due to its minimal impact, you won't be using it much in battle.

Jane Doe Best W-Engines

As an Anomaly character, Jane wants as much Anomaly Mastery, Anomaly Proficiency and ATK as possible, with an emphasis on Anomaly Proficiency and ATK. Any Anomaly W-Engine focusing on those stats will work best for her. Among them, her Signature W-Engine, Sharpened Stinger, is her strongest pick. We recommend you secure this W-Engine in order to get the most out of Jane.

Jane Doe Best Teams

Jane Doe gets a huge Anomaly Buildup Rate boost from her Additional Core Ability, which is activated by having another member of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team or a Physical character in the squad. To maximise Jane's potential, you must meet this team requirement.

1. Jane Doe Premium Teams

Alice, Vivian, Burnice and Yuzuha are amazing teamates for Jane. Alice synergises especially well with Jane as they're both Physical Anomaly characters, and Alice's Enhanced Basic Attack can apply a special type of Physical Anomaly that can trigger Disorder with the regular Physical Anomaly. Yuzuha can enhance this interaction even further with her Anomaly-related buffs. Vivian and Burnice function really great as Anomaly Sub-DPS, requiring minimal field-time while dealing massive massive DMG. Alternatively, you can switch up Jane's playstyle with Nangong and Sunna; now, instead of playing a traditional Anomaly character, you'll be focusing on performing burst combos to deal as much DMG as possible during stun windows.

Jane Mindscape Cinema

Jane Mindscape

M1: Crime Counsel
  • Rating: ★★★★ (Great)
  • Effect: The maximum uses of Basic Attack: Salchow Jump are increased by one. While in the Passion state, Jane's Physical Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by an extra 15% and each point of Jane's Anomaly Proficiency increases her damage by 0.1%, up to a maximum of 30%.
  • Jane's Mindscape 1 provides her with an extra use of Salchow Jump, making it easier to maintain her Passion state. Not only that, it also increases her Anomaly Buildup Rate and DMG ouput, allowing for faster triggers of Assault that hit harder as well.
M2: Adapt to the Environment
  • Rating: ★★★★★ (Best)
  • Effect: When Jane's attack hits an enemy in the Gnawed state, or when any squad member triggers Assault on an enemy in the Gnawed state, 15% of the enemy's DEF is ignored. Additionally, when Assault DMG triggers a CRIT, the CRIT DMG is increased by 50%.
  • This Mindscape gives the biggest boost in Jane's overall DMG. The 15% DEF shred combined with a 50% increase in Crit DMG for Assaults make it a deadly combo, not just for Jane, but for any character who are able to trigger Assault in the squad.
M3: Anonymity
  • Rating: ★ (Not Good)
  • Effect: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • Due to the nature of Anomaly characters, skill upgrades offer minimal changes in performance. This means that Jane's Mindscape 3 is almost irrelevant.
M4: Adapt and Thrive
  • Rating: ★★★★ (Great)
  • Effect: When any squad member triggers the Assault or Disorder effects, all squad members' Attribute Anomaly DMG is increased by 18%, lasting 15s.
  • This Mindscape provides a great increase in the entire squad's Anomaly DMG. The 18% may look small, but with how fast Anomaly procs usually happen, it piles up really quickly.
M5: Compulsive Hoarder
  • Rating: ★ (Not Good)
  • Effect: Basic Attack, Assist, Dodge, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2
  • As explained in Jane's Mindscape 3, skill upgrades for her don't matter much.
M6: Shady Technique
  • Rating: ★★★★ (Great)
  • Effect: While in the Passion state, Jane's CRIT Rate increases by 20%, and CRIT DMG by 40%. After any squad member inflicts Assault, Jane instantly enters the Passion state, and gains max Passion Stream. When Assault deals a CRIT, Jane performs an additional attack on the target, dealing Physical DMG equal to 1,600% of her Anomaly Proficiency.
  • Jane's Mindscape 6 is amazing at boosting her personal DMG thanks to its stat buffs, increased Passion state duration, and an entirely new attack. However, Crit stats aren't too useful on Jane, and the buffs only apply to her, so it's held back from being the best Mindscape, sitting just below her Mindscape 2.

Conclusion
