Yangyang Gameplay and Playstyle

Yangyang is an Aero Sword resonator who functions as a Sub-DPS and Support, specializing in enemy grouping and Resonance Energy funneling for the team. Her gameplay revolves around building Melody stacks through her normal rotation and spending them on powerful Forte attacks.

Yangyang builds Melody through her Basic Attack Stage 4, Zephyr Song, Resonance Skill: Zephyr Domain, and Intro Skill: Cerulean Song. Once she has 3 stacks, she unlocks two powerful options, Stormy Strike after a Heavy Attack, and Feather Release from mid-air, both dealing significant Aero DMG and generating Concerto Energy to charge her Outro Skill faster.

Her Resonance Liberation: Wind Spirals conjures a large Cyclone that pulls in nearby enemies and deals heavy Aero DMG, making her one of the better crowd-control options in the game. Due to her low field time requirements, she can quickly cycle through her rotation, cast her Liberation, and swap out to funnel energy to the main DPS.

Yangyang's biggest strength lies in her Outro Skill: Whispering Breeze, which restores 4 Resonance Energy per second for 5s to the incoming Resonator. This makes her a strong pairing for any Main DPS that relies heavily on their Resonance Liberation to deal damage.

The 5-Piece Bonus increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% after casting Outro Skill. Since Yangyang frequently triggers her Outro Skill in rotation, she can consistently activate this bonus for the team.
