S-Rank Characters

1. Jinhsi

Attribute: Spectro        ▶ Weapon: Broadblade        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

JINHSI

Jinhsi is currently the strongest and most versatile DPS in the game. Highly recommended for everyone to pull.

- Pros:

① Exceptional damage dealer, top-tier in the game.

② Specializes in single-target damage while still competent in AoE damage, crucial for high-difficulty content like Holograms and deep ToA levels where single elite enemies are prevalent.

③ Deals Majority of damage in the air, avoiding over 80% damage from opponents.

④ Low skill requirements, suitable for most players.

Deals the most of her damage through Resonance Skill so doesn't need to charge Resonance Liberation.

⑥ Can quick swap with other DPS characters, boosting overall team damage.

- Cons:

Requires positioning adjustments when dealing with multiple enemies.

② Needs teammates of other attributes who can deal coordianated attacks to gain Incandescence, currently lacks a perfect pairing.

2. Jiyan

Attribute: Aero        ▶ Weapon: Broadblade        ▶ Rairity: Five-star         ▶ Role: Main DPS

jiyan

Jiyan, the first limited Main DPS in Version 1.0, can deal decent damage. While not recommended for everyone due to the current prevant single-target scenarios, Jiyan is ideal for players looking to quickly clear multiple enemies.

- Pros:

Outstanding AoE damage, currently the best in the game, also decent in single-target scenarios (just 10% less than Jinhsi).

② Simple to play, including auto-counterattacking during his Resonance Liberation, perfect for beginners.

③ Well-matched with Mortefi, an easily obtainable four-star support, making it easy to build teams for Jiyan.

- Cons:

Limited pairing options, reliant on Mortefi.

② Requires significant energy for liberation activation.

   ③ Weaker in single-target scenarios of high-difficulit.

3. Verina

Attribute: Spectro        ▶ Weapon: Rectifier        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Support

verina

Verina, the only five-star healer, excels at providing both healing and buffs to the entire party, unlike most supports that only benefit the next character on the field. Additionally, she can gain Concerto Energy quickly to trigger Main DPS' s Intro Skill, boosting the team's overall damage output. Her versatility allows her to fit seamlessly into any team composition, making her one of the most indispensable characters in the game.

A-Rank Characters

1. Changli

Attribute: Fusion        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS/ Main DPS

changli

There has been a debate in the community regarding Changli's role as Main or Sub DPS. We consider C0 and C1 Changli mainly as Sub DPS, transitioning to Main DPS at C2 due to her huge amounts of damage. At C0, Changli can already deal significant damage, and her skill can amplify the next teammate's Fusion DMG and Liberation DMG. Changli's playstyle makes her well-suited for quick swap strategies. Once players master her mechanics, Changli can deliver substantial damage, especially when paired with other Main DPS characters, particularly those with Fusion attributes. In the current version, Changli and Encore form one of the most powerful team combinations. However, Changli's playstyle is more complex compared to Jinhsi and Jiyan. As a Sub DPS, her priority for pulling isn't as high as Main DPS characters and their signature weapons.

2. Encore

Attribute: Fusion        ▶ Weapon: Rectifier        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

encore

As one of the best Main DPS characters in the Standard Convene, Encore is relatively easy to obtain and has an excellent damage dealing mechanism. Her Resonance Skill and Forte Circuit are well-suited for quick swap strategies. For players who have Encore, it is recommended to invest in her, as he performs well in ToA, especially when paired with Changli. However, one downside is that as a Standard Convene character, her Resonance Chain don't provide significant benefits, and she has to stay on the field all the time during her liberation.

3. Yinlin

Attribute: Electro        ▶ Weapon: Rectifier        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

yinlin

Yinlin's unique ability to perform off-field coordinated attacks is quite rare among characters, and her skill can increase teammates' Electro DMG and Liberation DMG, making her a supportive off-field damage dealer. However, she has some notable drawbacks: her overall damage dealing ability is relatively weak, and her coordinated attacks rely on marking enemies. After enemies are defeated, new waves need to be re-marked, which makes her less effective in handling multiple waves of enemies.

B-Rank Characters

1. Mortefi

Attribute: Fusion        ▶ Weapon: Pistols        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

mortefi

As a four-star character, Moetefi's damage dealing ability is not particularly impressive. But he can enhance heavy attack damage, making him a key teammate for Jiyan. But except for Jiyan's team, he do not have other advantages that can surpass other characters, so he is not worth investing in if you don't have Jiyan.

2. Rover (Havoc)

Attribute: Havoc        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

rover

Rover (Havoc) can act as a quick-swap DPS thanks to their high-damage Liberation. He or she is often switched out of the field after using Liberation, making hin or her a versatile teammate for characters like Jinhsi. As a free-to-obtain character, Rover's Resonance chains are also easy to acquire, making him or her accessible and user-friendly, especially for beginners.

3. Lingyang

Attribute: Glacio        ▶ Weapon: Gauntlet        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

lingyang

Lingyang is relatively average compared to other five-star Main DPS characters. One of his strengths is his cool and smooth gameplay, but his small attacking range is a notable drawback. In the current state of the game, Lingyang is outclassed by his five-star peers, especially those with strong AoE damage capabilities.

3. Calcharo

Attribute: Electro        ▶ Weapon: Broadblade        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

calcharo

Compared to other Main DPS characters, Calcharo's damage is on the lower end. While he can be paired with Yinlin, the overall damage of the two together also remains relatively low.

C-Rank Characters

1. Jianxin

Attribute: Aero        ▶ Weapon: Gauntlet        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS/ Sub DPS

jianxin

Jianxin can serve as either a Main DPS or a Sub DPS. Her main strength lies in her versatility, as she can do a bit of everything without specializing in any particular area. This makes her quite useful for beginners, but after you has played the game for some time, her lack of specialization becomes more apparent, causing her to fall behind in effectiveness.

2. Yuanwu

Attribute: Electro        ▶ Weapon: Gauntlet        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

yuanwu

As a four-star Sub DPS, Yuanwu initially lacked strength and was not frequently used. However, with the release of Version 1.1 and the introduction of Jinhsi, he has found a place in Jinhsi's team composition and become a popular Sub DPS in the current meta.

3. Danjin

Attribute: Havoc        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

danjin

Danjin is a four-star Main DPS character who is in urgent need of her own Resonance Chains to deal damage. Her unique HP-burning mechanic can be daunting for less skilled players, requiring precise control and careful management. However, in the hands of experienced players, Danjin can unleash explosive damage with ease, making her the stongest four-star DPS.

4. Baizhi

Attribute: Glacio        ▶ Weapon: Rectifier        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Support

baizhi

Baizhi is an accessible healer, known as a "budget healer." At C5, she gains the ability to directly revive a fallen teammate, making her an invaluable asset in tough situations. Paired with prper Echo set, she can also offer buffs for teammates, making her a popular choice for a second team healer among players.

5. Sanhua

Attribute: Glacio        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

sanhua

Just like Danjin, Sanhua is a favorite among skilled players. She can rival five-star characters in certain situations, though not suitable for less experienced players.

6. Taoqi

Attribute: Havoc        ▶ Weapon: Broadblade        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

taoqi

Taoqi can provide the team with substantial shields and can heal herself, making her a character with exceptional survivability.

D-Rank Characters

1. Chixia

Attribute: Fusion        ▶ Weapon: Gauntlet        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS

chixia

As a four-star, Chixia boasts relatively high damage. She is a good choice for beiginners due to her lower survival pressure. However, as a main damage dealer, her team composition tends to be quite fixed, making it challenging for her to fit into other teams.

2. Yangyang

Attribute: Aero        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS/ Sub DPS

yangyang

Yangyang can function as both a Main DPS and a Sub DPS. However, as a four-star character, her damageis relatively low. Despite this, she have crowd-control abilities, which provide useful support in managing groups of enemies.

3. Rover (Spectro)

Attribute: Spectro        ▶ Weapon: Sword        ▶ Rairity: Five-star        ▶ Role: Main DPS/ Sub DPS

rover

Rover (Spectro) is easy to use with straightforward combos, effective as a Main DPS early on and as a Sub-DPS later, and provides crowd control through its Outro Skill. However, as an all-arounder, Rover is outperformed by characters who specialize in either the Main DPS or Sub-DPS roles.

4. Aalto

Attribute: Aero        ▶ Weapon: Pistols        ▶ Rairity: Four-star        ▶ Role: Sub DPS

aalto

While excellent for buffing Aero DPS units, Aalto's Resonance Skill can taunt enemies and provide crowd control. However, the Resonance Liberation demands a lot of energy and Aalto's damage is very low.
