Lingyang Gameplay and Playstyle
Lingyang is a Glacio Gauntlet resonator who functions as a Main DPS, specializing in Basic Attack DMG and Resonance Skill DMG. His damage revolves around filling his Forte Circuit (Lion's Spirit) through his Intro Skill and Resonance Liberation, then consuming it during his empowered aerial state where he achieves his peak damage output.
Lingyang switches between two combat modes using his Forte Circuit. In his default grounded form, his attacks are straightforward and rarely used outside of setup. Once his Forte is fully charged, performing a Heavy Attack sends him airborne into his Striding Lion state, where his Basic Attacks are replaced with Feral Gyrate and his Resonance Skill becomes Mountain Roamer, enabling a rapid alternating loop of enhanced hits.
When in Striding Lion, Lingyang continuously consumes his Lion's Spirit over time. His Resonance Liberation serves a dual purpose within his rotation, it deals a burst of Glacio damage upfront while also granting a massive +50% Glacio DMG Bonus for 14 seconds and significantly extending his airborne duration by slowing Lion's Spirit consumption by 50%. This makes his Liberation less of a standalone nuke and more of a critical enabler that transitions him directly into his highest-damage window. The entire rotation is heavily incentivized to be completed on-field, as leaving mid-rotation results in a considerable damage loss, making him a Hyper Carry.
