Wuthering Waves 3.3 New Characters
Hiyuiki (5★)
Hiyuki is a Glacio Sword resonator who functions as a Main DPS, specializing in Resonance Liberation DMG. Her gameplay revolves around cycling between two states, Present Self and Foreclaimed Self, to build up and unleash powerful charged attacks.
In Present Self, Hiyuki builds Dedication through Basic Attacks, Dodge Counters, and Resonance Skills. Once Dedication is full, she can cast Frost Splinter: Present Self followed by Foreclaiming: Inward Vision, transitioning into Foreclaimed Self and setting up her core damage loop.
While in Foreclaimed Self, Hiyuki builds Frostheart and Whiteout Bitterfrost stacks. With enough Frostheart, she can enter Iai Stance and cast Iai repeatedly, each cast granting a stack of Snowforged Blade, up to 3. These stacks are then consumed by Foreclaiming: Blade Liberation, her ultimate nuke, where more stacks spent directly increases the attack's damage multiplier.
Hiyuki also benefits from teammates who apply Glacio Chafe or Havoc Bane, which grant her Snow Rust stacks. At 3 stacks, she unlocks amplified Glacio Bite and Glacio Chafe damage.
Denia (5★)
Denia (5★) Denia is a Fusion Rectifier resonator who functions as a Support/Amplifier, specializing in team DMG Bonus and Resonance Liberation DMG. Her gameplay revolves around alternating between two forms, Stagecraft Form and Breakdown Form, each feeding into the other through her Resonance Liberations.
In Stagecraft Form, Denia builds Void Particle through attacks. Casting Final Act - Stagecraft Form deals Fusion DMG, then transitions her into Breakdown Form while granting Entropy Shift: Breakdown Form, which passively restores Void Particle over time.
In Breakdown Form, Void Particle is consumed and converted into Conformal Charge, powering up Final Act - Breakdown Form. Once Conformal Charge is full, she unleashes her big nuke and transitions back to Stagecraft Form with Entropy Shift: Stagecraft Form, boosting her ATK by 30%. She also generates a lasting Erosion Field after casting Final Act - Breakdown Form, which pulls in enemies and deals continuous Resonance Liberation DMG.
Denia's kit has two Resonance Modes that define her team role. In Resonance Mode - Fusion Burst, she frequently inflicts Fusion Burst on enemies and grants all teammates 30% Fusion DMG Bonus, making her a strong pick for Fusion Burst DoT Teamss. In Resonance Mode - Tune Strain, she applies Tune Strain - Shifting, resets debuff durations, and grants teammates +10 Break Boost, synergizing well with Tune Break teams.
