Mon3tr, as all chain medics, can heal one operator and then up to two more - her heals bounce between neighboring tiles from one operator to another with every jump loosing 25% healing effectiveness. She can also deploy a summon that grants operators ATK and ASPD buff. On top of that with her skill 3 she will take place of her summon and deal massive true damage to up to 3 surrounding enemies. She truly is a top-tier operator that will stay in the meta for a long time and an absolute must pull, currently on banner until the 30th of September.
Mon3tr starts a long trend of incredibly strong operators coming to Arknights in the following months. With Exusiai alter, Lemuen, Tragodia, Haruka and Hoshiguma alter on the horizon you should prepare as much orundum as you can with Lootbar.

Talents
Self-Repair
Mon3tr can deploy a summon - the Reconstruction - in her range that constantly loses health. This is a good thing because all of her skills are offensive recovery, so she can constantly have a target to gain SP.
Her summon grants surrounding allies up to 20% ATK at potential 3 and extends healing bounce by one which does not weaken.
This talent can effectively increase Mon3tr’s range by 3 tiles.
Tactical Coordination
When Mon3tr or her summon heal any number of targets, both Mon3tr and all the targets gain up to 22 ASPD for 10 seconds at potential 6.
With Reconstruction deployed this is a permanent buff.
Potentials
P2 ✦✧✧✧✧
P3 ✦✦✦✦✧
P4 ✦✦✧✧✧
P5 ✦✧✧✧✧
P6 ✦✦✦✦✦
When it comes to potentials - DP reduction of P2 and P5 is not as impactful as on supporters, vanguards or fast-redeploys.
+25 ATK from P4 does not make much difference.
On the other hand P3 brings decent value to Mon3tr as now Reconstruction will buff allies for extra 5% ATK.
P6 is where the real gain comes, as now Mon3tr on S2M3 will give 61.6 ASPD buff on top of 25% ATK from P3.
If you really like Mon3tr gameplay and want to max her out including potentials then there is no better way than to use LootBar.
Skills
All Mon3tr skills are Offensive Recovery, so she needs to attack (heal) in order to gain Skill Points. That can often be a problem for other operators as they cannot charge their skills unless there is an enemy in range or an operator to heal. Mon3tr ignores that mechanic – her Reconstruction summon loses health constantly so she will heal it with 100% uptime. Pairing her with Ch’en or other SP batteries will make her regenerate Skill Points even faster.
S1
Stratagem: Hyperpressurized Link is a nice AFK healing skill – it is cast automatically, increases healing up to 200% of ATK, and gives an extra bounce. At M3, with Ch’en on the field, skill will activate every other attack, still compared to her other skills this is the lowest mastery priority.
S2
Stratagem: Overload prioritizes healing the Reconstruction summon which in turn will perform a heal of its own. During skill duration talent 2 will be up to 2.8 times more effective. So a lot more attack speed for all healed operators. You could wonder – what if my operators are full HP? As long as Reconstruction is on the field the heals it gets from Mon3tr will bounce even to full HP operators, so they will get buffed regardless. What’s even more convenient is that the ASPD buff lasts for 10 seconds even after skill ends and applies to Mon3tr as well, so she will charge her next skill even faster.
Fun tip:
Place Blaze alter with S2, Goldenglow with S3 and Lappland alter with S3 behind Yu on S3 on one side of the stage. Next to them put down Mon3tr on S2. Activate their skills and watch the whole stage burn to ashes.
The way it works – every projectile that goes through Yu’s firewall will inflict burn elemental damage. Blaze alter’s talent amplifies damage under burn burst based on her ATK. Her S2 gives her massive ATK boost. Since Goldenglow and Lappland alter have global range, they will deal arts + elemental damage to everything everywhere + extra burst damage from Blaze. On top of that all their damage will be amplified by Mon3tr ATK and ASPD buff. Enemies where? What enemies?
S3
Stratagem: Meltdown is where Mon3tr turns into a true damage DPS. Her attack range changes to 8 surrounding tiles, she moves to where her summon was, gets up to 330% ATK, can block 3 enemies, gains 5000 extra max HP, attacks 1.5 seconds faster, loses 80 HP per second, similar to Surtr, attacks a number of enemies equal to her block count, deals true damage and heals herself for 50% of ATK. After skill ends or if she is killed she will return to her starting position with. The healing part is important as it will trigger her second talent giving her ASPD buff, but also her self healing will bounce to nearby operators so they will get buffed as well. Such a clever kit design, they truly thought of everything.
One thing to note – although range on S3 looks same as e.g. Kazemaru’s doll, unlike her, Mon3tr will not target flying or low-hovering enemies.
Skill Priority
S2 - definitely worth M3 for huge buff gains.
S3 - M3 gives 50% more ATK over level 7, worth only if you plan to use her true damage a lot
S1 - easy skip unless you are fan of AFKing
Base skills
For base skills enthusiasts, Mon3tr will make your factories happy. When in Control Center she can switch with Kal’tsit for 2% productivity boost while also restore morale to her co-workers.
So, should you pull and build Mon3tr?
Definitely YES!
Mon3tr is a great addition to any roster. Jack of all trades, master of all. She is one of the best medics, best buffer in the game and also a great true damage DPS. You can’t go wrong with her so if you are missing some headhunting permits to guarantee her, or need to stock up on orundum for upcoming stacked banners, then don’t hesitate to take advantage of discounted Arknights Top Up.
