Recommended Priority: Shield > Marksman > Lancer
Starting from the 6th generation, heroes receive a noticeable stat boost, and the main lineup begins to take shape. However, free-to-play players may find it difficult to gain an advantage during this phase. It’s often recommended to recruit Renee and then skip this generation to save resources.
Wu Ming
Regarded as one of the most stylish heroes in Frost Revelation, Wu Ming possesses a 2-second invincibility effect in his exploration skill. He provides +20% damage and +25% skill damage when attacking, while also granting 25%–30% damage reduction on defense — making him excellent in both offense and defense.
The downside is that he requires universal fragments, making him quite expensive to build. For free-to-play players who already have a strong Gen 5 tank, it’s fine to skip him.If your Gen 4 tank isn’t maxed by the time Gen 6 arrives, you may consider investing in Wu Ming — otherwise, wait for Gen 7.
Renee
A clown-themed hero and a balanced lancer unit obtainable through the Wheel event. Her stats and skills are fairly standard, and her 15% exclusive weapon bonus makes her viable for rally attacks.
However, her expedition skills only benefit lancer troops, limiting her total damage output.Like the Gen 3 lancer hero Mia, she’s flashy but not outstanding.Still, since the next Draw lancer hero doesn’t appear until Gen 9, Renee remains the only realistic option for low-spenders in this category.
Wayne
If Gwen was the legendary marksman of the past, then Wayne continues that legacy. His skillset excels in arena battles, allowing him to target backlines effectively — keeping archers at the top of the arena meta.
His expedition skills are also strong, but his exclusive weapon provides siege bonuses, which limit his rally potential.Because of this, Wayne isn’t recommended for free-to-play or light spenders, even if you missed Gwen.
Hero Combinations
From the 6th generation onward, there are many possible team compositions.Hero selection is no longer limited to simple rally/defense hybrids — different battle scenarios now favor different combinations.
Here’s one example lineup to consider, but it’s best to experiment and adjust according to your own needs and resources.
Bear Hunt Event Comp: Jeronimo + Mia + Wayne
PVP Comp: Mu Ming + Renee + Wayne
