The Qinchuan Map - Grasslands and Shifting Seasons
Shifting from desert to ice to flatland and on into its infinite journey, Qinchuan covers a lot of territory through its many different seasonal shifts and faction wars create a huge variety of environments. It was declared by developers that this is just like a scroll from The Scroll of the Painting Realm, as it will offer players the ability to find true treasure in this adventure. The shifting seasons mechanic indicates that the map can be altered visually as new quests are completed. Therefore, this will be the most dynamic and versatile area to date in the game.
Unlike the confined pathways/boundaries we have experienced in Jade Gate Pass in the deserts or the covered-with-snow mountain paths in Liangzhou, Qinchuan opens up into a wide-open canvas to experience exploration in every direction.
New Weapons and Bosses to Expect
Players will be using the “Mo Dao” aka Phalanxbane Blade (a glaive-style weapon) which performs the strongest types of attacks and they will work well with using the gauntlets in close combat (an advantage for both classes). The new area will have the perfect environment for players to use their Mo Dao weapon - a grassland because of the wide-sweeping range. This will allow players to chain together many long combos across open space with less restrictions than they had in previous chapters.

Storyline Predictions
This story is about their separation from one another and their desire to get back “home.” The Hexi people are supposed to return to their homeland and Qinchuan will ultimately write whether or not they will ever be able to return to Chang'an.
As with the rest of Hexi, the use of film narrative and flashback and real-life historical figures creates an emotional moment in the epilogue. Finally, the epilogue will include an area for end-game challenges (the first of its kind) and provide a place for players to "play through" the story line.
Conclusion
In summary, the Third Chapter of Hexi represents all of the build-up for the entire expansion. In this area of the Qinchuan grasslands, there have been significant seasonal changes that will continue to occur and provide players with a dynamic exploration experience through this constantly changing environment. There will also be five new bosses added as time warping bosses who can provide low level players with a new opportunity to challenge themselves in ways they haven’t previously been able to do, thereby extending the variety of gameplay.
Due to the new addition of the Mo Dao glaive, there will be a new class of weapons available for use in combat in Open Worlds which contribute to the diversity in combat styles available to players. In addition, this new chapter carries with it a sense that the Hexi will finally gain closure as to whether or not they will be able to return home to Chang’an during the course of the entire Hexi expansion.
To summarize, this new chapter successfully resolves the overall plotline of the Hexi but also provides players with a destination for continuing their journey through the Hexi expansion as well as offers an array of exciting new content added into Challenge Arenas and new Modes of Competitive Play.
