What Is VALORANT Mobile?
Valorant Mobile is a standalone version of Valorant built specifically for mobile platforms—Android and iOS. It retains the core gameplay of its PC counterpart: 5v5 matches, attack and defense rounds, unique agents with abilities, and a strong emphasis on precise aim and teamwork.
It is not a cloud-streamed version or a direct port. Riot has rebuilt the game from the ground up with mobile optimization in mind, similar to what Tencent did with PUBG Mobile.
Release Timeline & Testing Phases
Closed Beta in China (June 2025)
Riot confirmed a closed beta (Omega // Limited Test) running throughout June 12, 2025, available exclusively in China. This wave follows earlier “Pioneer” and “Content Creators & Esports” tests that wrapped up in May. Participants will experience:
- Team Battle mode on a new China-inspired map
- Dynamic points scoring, map-wide ping system, and quick-chat shortcuts
- Support for up to 120 FPS on flagship devices
