Easily Unlock Silver Icon Ruud Gullit in FC 26 With One Game!
There are two objectives tied to this card. One requires you to score 20 power shots with a player from Netherlands against Semi-Pro difficulty AI in Squad Battles (or in online modes). The other requires players to win 20 matches against Semi-Pro difficulty AI in Squad Battles (or on online modes). One of those objectives is obviously going to take much fewer time than the others, and that’s where the best part of this whole situation comes in.
EA made it so that you only have to complete one of these objectives in order to unlock Silver Icon Ruud Gullit. That means you don’t have to worry about playing, and winning, 20 separate matches with players from the Serie A. Instead, you can actually unlock this card in one single game. All you need to do is play against Semi-Pro AI in Squad Battles and keep spamming power shots. Semi-Pro is absolutely awful and will hardly defend against you competently. But, you can still make it much easier for yourself.
The obvious thing to do would be to use a player with Power Shot+. Surprisingly though, it turns out that there isn’t a single Dutch player in the entire game with that Playstyle+. So instead, you can settle for Quentin Timber, who has base Power Shot and only costs 700 coins. Next thing you want to do is to play against the lowest rated squad available. Try to find one with 0 chemistry. These usually have an outfield player in the GK spot and will guarantee every power shot goes in. Then just keep passing to Timber and scoring! Just do these few things and you’ll unlock Silver Icon Gullit in a single game!
The Best Current Evo Path for Silver Icon Gullit in FC 26
Just like the cards, evos get better and better as the year goes on. So, there will obviously be better evos for this card as time goes on. But with everything we have now, here’s an absolutely busted evo chain that will make Silver Icon Gullit an insane player, while also not needing you to grind like a madman:
Start off with Thunder It In to give him a much needed shooting boost, followed by both of the Stay Frosty evolutions so that he gets better dribbling. Next you want to use Frosty Dribbler on him, which will cost 25k coins, and then use Architect on him as well. After that, put him through the Season 4 pass Grasscutter evolution for another boost to shooting, and perfect it with Icy Precision to take his shooting all the way to 93.
After all these offensive upgrades, you can move on to defensive upgrades with Season 4 pass Stopped In Its Tracks evolution. Once that’s done, you can use Season 4 pass Brute Defense evolution on him twice to take him all the way to 88 defending. It’s a long way to get to this point, but now there’s just four short evos left!
Give him the Proper Passer to take his passing to 88 as well. Then use the Season 4 pass Get A Move On! evolution on him as well to give him 80 pace. Finally, just use Balancing Act on this card twice after doing all of these evolutions, and you’ll finally be done! You now have a Gullit that’s only 79 OVR, but has 80 Pace, 93 Shooting, 88 Passing, Dribbling, and Defending, as well as 85 Physicality. It’s a grind for sure, but it gives you access to one of the most busted cards in the game.
And to make him better, you can apply the CM or CAM Roles Upgrade evolution on him too depending on where you want to play him. You can even give this exact evolution chain Finesse Shot+ or Technical+ at the end thanks to the Season Pass rewards. It's an insane amount of grinding for sure. But if any card is ever worth all that, FC players know that it's Ruud Gullit. If you still don’t want to do all that for his Silver Icons version, get Base Gullit or any other FC 26 players through LootBar instead for easy upgrades to your squad.
