The Basics of the Pets
You will unlock the pets in season one of the game. Right off the bat, develop the Pet Food Factory and Pet Paradise. These buildings are crucial when it comes to pets. The Pet Food Factory is the building that will continuously create pet food and store it for utmost 24 hours. There is also a yield boost for the villagers you assign to it. So, the best course of action would be to increase the yield boost of the villagers to get the maximum.
The Pet Paradise is where all the eggs will be hatched and where you can level the pets that you get. Try to grind your way till the Pet Paradise is at level. Till then, keep on grinding for the stats and the levels. So, the process is simple: you will have to get eggs to hatch in the Pet Paradise. The pets that you get are strong, the majority of them at least.
But, if you want to make them stronger you will have to level them using the Pet Food. There are multiple sources where you can get the Pet Eggs and the Pet Food, which we will cover soon. But, before that, ensure that you get both these buildings up and running and grind their levels to a higher one before starting.
Getting The Pet Eggs And Pet Food
You can get the pet eggs from:
- You can get the pet eggs from your guild store. Each week, you can get up to three rare eggs, which you can hatch in the Pet Paradise.
- From the bounty hall. You can use the pet bounties. When you complete the bounties, there is a chance of getting eggs. You can get both uncommon and rare eggs. Then, you will have to bring the eggs back with help from your guild.
- Finally, you can always rely on packs to get you the pet eggs. So, it will be a good time to do atop heroes top up to make life easier for you.
In a similar fashion, you can get the Pet Food from:
- The first choice you have is from the Pet Food Factory, which will give you a decent amount, but it will not suffice in most cases, especially when you are leveling your pets.
- You can head over to the VIP and Daily Market to obtain the Pet food you require. Especially with the Daily market, try to buy it every day, as it will help you later in the game.
- Finally, when you defeat or do the pet bounties, you also get pet food as a reward.
Making Your Heroes Stronger Using the Pet Buffs
You will have to hatch the eggs at the Pet Paradise. Those eggs will take time to hatch, so be patient. The more pets you have, the better stat buffs. All of the pets will give you a stat buff for all the heroes. So, what to do here? At first, focus on getting the pets and keeping them. Then, as you grow your collection, you will have to start leveling the pets. The higher the level of the pets, the better stats they provide for the heroes in your team. Personally, keep the rare ones and mass-release the uncommon ones in exchange for food.
The Pets for Each Faction
With the different factions, there are different pets that give the faction-specific boosts, too. So, you will have to focus on them, depending on the hero who is the main one in your team.
- Horde - If you main Horde, go for Howli or Flickerkit. Howli will be the best in the long run, as Flickerkit is more expensive.
- League - You can either go with Eggy or Zappy. Eggy would be the best bet here.
- Nature - If you are maining nature, you have some options. The pets include Cubbly, Snowpal, Sproutfang, and Cactini. Here, Cactini will be the best pet for the Nature Heroes in your team.
Leveling Your Pets
When it comes to leveling up your pets, you will need the Pet Food. Sometimes it will be a waiting game; otherwise, you can buy it from the stores or from the packs. As far as it goes, leveling the pets up is a grind. You will have to take time and level up the pets one at a time. At first, focus on leveling up the main pets, so the faction-specific pets will be the main priority. After you do that, focus on a different pet.
