What’s In The Valley of Slaughter?

The idea of the two dungeons is the same, which is that players are required to travel through the rough terrains of Akidu Valley, take down some Orcs, and defeat the final boss. Since the Valley of Slaughter belongs to the Tier 2 class, it is far more challenging compared to the Butcher’s Canyon. In addition to this, you’ll also need better and enhanced gear to complete it.

Before jumping into the dungeon, players must ensure they have a Gear Score of 2500 on their active playable character. On top of this, it’s also required for players to have a minimum of 450 Dimensional Contract Token II in their pocket so that they can loot the final chest and get some exciting rewards. You can start the quest once everything is ready by regular matchmaking.

How To Defeat The Orcs?

Players will come across a variation of Orcs, which are the mobs in the Valley of Slaughter Dungeon in Throne and Liberty. The first mob shows up at the beginning of the dungeon while protecting an elevator. It’s the Orc Administrator who will be in possession of the key to the elevator, so make sure to take him down, get the keys from him, and go up the elevator.

Once you’re up, you’ll see a bridge leading to the most massive mob in the dungeon. To defeat them, the tank should go ahead and distract the mob simply to lead them all to the bridge. With that done, make sure to push the vicious creatures off the bridge at the same time to eliminate them together. There’s a campfire close to the mob, which can be used to restore your health!

How To Defeat The Mini-Boss Orc Shadow Elder?

The Orc Shadow Elder is the first mini-boss you’ll cross paths with in the Tier 2 Valley of Slaughter. Taking him down is a typical affair, except for a couple of new tricks to catch players off guard. Once the fight starts, make sure to use every attack in your arsenal to decrease his HP. When it’s 30% down, the boss will summon a caster to tether players within a red circle.

He’ll also summon an exploding sheep that has the power to detonate after a brief moment. It can one-hit and eliminate your entire party, so make sure to eliminate the sheep instantly after its spawn. You can do so by using the tether laser beam to your advantage since it can deal massive damage to the sheep. You can also throw the boss to the arena’s edge near the rocks.

This allows you to stop the boss from using a wide range of his mechanics, making the fight far easier for you to win. While it seems like the easy way out, and many might not agree with using it because it feels like cheating, players who are having difficulty facing the exploding sheep and tether can go for it. In fact, it’s good to have some fun in the game and choose the easy way out!

How To Defeat The Mini-Boss Orc Shadowmancer?

Following the Orc Shadow Elder’s defeat, you’ll come across an Orc Key Administrator. Once again, kill him, get the key, and lower the drawbridge in the front. You’ll find an entire mob just past the drawbridge, so take advantage of your tank to lead them to the bridge and push them off once again. You’ll see three tethered Orc Shadowmancers within the red circle ahead.

Once you get to the enemies present at the centre of the arena, make sure to defeat the Orc Curse Caster first, who’s busy protecting them. The Orc Shadowmancers are absolutely indestructible when they’re tethered together. You can break this tether and eliminate each one by Crowd Controlling all three Orcs simultaneously. This can get frustrating, so remain patient!

How To Defeat The Final Boss Turka?

Turka is similar to the Butcher Canyon’s Duke Magna with only one additional mechanic. When the fight begins, look out for three specific attacks: a meteor slam attacking three players, fast AOE attack players can block, and a ground AOE attack you can block by jumping. In the last one, keep an eye on a red circle on the ground since it acts as your indicator for jumping.

When it comes to the meteor attack, watch out for a lava pool if you’re the tank and stay far away from it. You can easily deal damage to the boss when he’s carrying out these attacks. The additional mechanic involves Turka pulling players in this direction and spawning a sheep some distance away. All of the players (except the tank) should focus on taking down that sheep.

When the five players are busy defeating the sheep, the boss runs to the tank and positions himself at the arena’s edge. However, the tank can simply rush in the sheep’s direction and fight beside their team. This ultimately puts a protective shield on the players, which further acts as a protective barrier from a massive and vicious final boss move called a wipe mechanic.

This is when Turka jumps up and slams down hard on the ground. However, beware of Turka summoning two sheep and make sure that the team remains focused on that one sheep from before!
