Gear Traits are an essential Throne and Liberty feature that allows players to equip the best set of stats in the game. It helps build your character, with every piece of gear possessing its unique assortment of stats. Traits have the strength to enhance your chances of hitting opponents and help increase your mana regen, max health, sleep resistance, decrease your cooldowns, etc.
You might see them on your weapons, accessories, and armour as you continue to progress through Throne and Liberty. Traits aren’t as necessary when players are busy leveling up their character, but once you begin the grind to collect end-game gear, they become essential to your mission. Players can unlock Traits through a handful of ways, with the primary one allowing them to get a duplicate of that specific gear with a different Trait that’s already unlocked. After that, head to the Equipment Enhancing hub, click on the Traits tab, and choose the gear for which you’re unlocking a brand-new Trait. Select one of the locked Trait slots from the menu that pops up.
Once done, you can view duplicate items from the window on the right side of the screen. While it doesn’t really have to be a duplicate, the Trait itself should remain the same. Unfortunately, there’s a lot that can go wrong during this process. This is where Blessings in Throne and Liberty enter the picture!
Players can use Blessings to maximize their chances of getting a successful Trait upgrade. To summarize, the more Blessings you possess, the higher your chances of getting a far better result. It’s important to note that if you fail to increase an item’s Blessings bar, it enhances your chances of upgrading in such a way that once the bar does get filled, the next time you attempt to upgrade a weapon is set to be a success. If you want to apply the latest Trait that you have unlocked, head to the Main Menu and click on the Equipment Enchanting tab.
