The recommended free-to-play teams for the launch of version 1.0 are here!

The public test for "Wuthering Waves" is finally here! With just one day left until the May 23rd public test, the countdown has officially begun. Are you all excited and ready? The pre-download for "Wuthering Wavess" is now available, so those of you who haven't downloaded it yet can prepare in advance.

As the public test approaches, the official "Wuthering Waves" team has also announced the launch rewards, which are quite generous. These include two five-star characters, a five-star weapon of your choice, two four-star characters, a four-star weapon selection pack, and 108 draws. For a new open-world game, the rewards are plentiful, and players' expectations are high.

【Pure Four-Star Team for Free-to-Play Players】

In the first 1.0 version at launch, two new five-star characters, Ji Yan and Yin Lin, will make their debut. For new free-to-play players, character team composition is crucial. A pure four-star free-to-play team could consist of Aalto, Motefi, and Baizhi. Qiushui comes with a decoy taunt, Motefi is a damage-boosting support, and Baizhi provides healing and additional damage. If you have the means, pulling Verina would be ideal.

【Ji Yan Double Gold Team】

Next is a team centered around Ji Yan, the main DPS from the 1.0 pool. The team members are Ji Yan, Verina, and Motefi. Unlike the pure four-star team, this one includes two five-star characters. Ji Yan needs to be drawn from the limited pool, while Verina can be chosen from the new players five-star selection event. Therefore, free-to-play players can also consider this setup.

【Launch Kakarot Team】

Besides the pure four-star team and the Ji Yan team, theres also a low-cost team centered around Kakarot. The team members are Kakarot, Motefi, and Baizhi. Kakarot can be obtained from the beginners pool, and Baizhi is given as a reward for completing activities. This team is great for early-game progression and is quite easy to form, making it friendly for free-to-play players. However, it's recommended mainly for transitional use.
