Having them as supporters can definitely change the tide of the game. Although Mega Altaria ex is indeed strong and durable, it’s not that hard to counter it. It’s weak against Pom-Pom Oricorio, which has the ability to negate any damage coming from any ex Pokémonds. How to Counter Mega Altaria ex Deck
With 190 HP, Mega Altaria ex may seem frightening at first. Many players would like to quit their game if they encounter one. However, this Pokémon is actually easy to counter. As it’s a Psychic Pokémon, what you’ll need are Metal Pokémons. In this case, you can choose Solgaleo ex and Melmetal ex that can KO Mega Altaria ex in two turns. However, it is recommended to do this as early as possible before the enemy fulfills their benches.
If it’s already too late, you can always prevent Mega Altaria ex from dealing damage by using support cards, like Sabrina or Cyrus. With these cards, you will force Mega Altaria ex to retreat.
