The 3 Best Cards From TOTW 13 in FC 26
Lionel Messi
Messi got a TOTW card very recently in TOTW 9, and just a month later he has another thanks to his great performances that lead to Inter Miami’s win in the MLS Cup. He assisted two goals in the final and had a great game in general that earned him a spot in TOTW 13, and this card is definitely a lot better than his last appearance in Team of The Week.
That’s also reflected by their price tags, with the older one being 60k while this new card is still 500k a couple of days after release. The difference in quality (and therefore price) comes down to the pace and Playstyle+. For a CAM, that +3 pace and upgraded stats all across the board, along with Incisive+ instead of Tiki Taka+, make a huge difference. The price tag is still a bit much, but that’s a given for any Messi card. You’ll always have to pay extra to play as one of the greatest to ever do it. And despite being a bit overpriced, he’s still easily the best card from this week.
Harry Kane
Kane is scoring goals for fun in the Bundesliga and is a strong case for the best striker in the world right now. It’s actually surprising that he’s only had two TOTW cards so far in FC 26, with this being the second one. And it’s a huge upgrade on the first one. Harry Kane is the highest rated player in TOTW 13 but he’s still extremely cheap, having 91 OVR but still only being around 70k currently.
The main reason for that is easily his pace. At 75, it just isn’t enough for a majority of players. But, he also has 94 shooting, 85 passing, 84 dribbling, and 84 physicality. Outside of his pace, he’s a complete striker and this card arguably has the best shooting in the entire game. His finesses are disgustingly good, his low drivens and trivelas are also near perfect every single time, and he’s surprisingly good at headers thanks to base precision header. If you can adjust your style of play to account for his low pace (which is admittedly hard to do in the current meta), Kane may the best cheap beast in the entire game.
Victor Osimhen
Osimhen’s TOTW 13 card is nothing out of this world. He doesn’t even have a Playstyle+, which is a huge negative at this state of the game. And he also has terrible links, as there aren’t many meta Nigerian or Turkish league cards out there. But despite all this, his price tag is above 100k. That alone should speak about the quality of this card. Despite not having any Playstyle+, Osimhen has Rapid, Low Driven, and Gamechanger as base Playstyles which all suit the type of card that he is so well.
On top of that, he has 93 pace, 86 shooting, 83 dribbling, and 85 physicality. His stats are pretty much perfect for a striker, and he’s going to be insane with the right evos down the line. This card will definitely drop in price because there are better options out there. But, as an investment or for themed Turkish league/Nigerian squads, he’s a seriously good pick and worth getting because he feels much better in-game than the card suggests at a first glance.
In any way, he’s certainly a lot better than the other cards from this week, which you can see below. Hojlund and Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji are decent investment options as well, but currently they’re nowhere near usable and that’s why they’re close to discard price.
