Team of The Week 12 just dropped in FC 26, and it finally offers a better selection of cards compared to what we’ve gotten the last few weeks. There are good options for mid-tier teams, especially since there are usable cards that are from a top five league other than the Premier League for once.

Our Top Picks From TOTW 12 in FC 26
None of the good cards from this TOTW are on the level of the amazing Thunderstruck cards we just got last Friday. But, they aren’t anywhere near as expensive either, so you can settle for these few in particular from TOTW 12 and still be happy if any of them fit into your team:
Lautaro Martinez – A Lethal Serie A ST Packed With Finishing Power
Lautaro Martinez is one of the top names in TOTW 12 following his brace against Pisa. This 89-rated ST has elite finishing, Gamechanger+ for silky smooth trivelas, and making him deadly from everywhere with Power Shot for rockets, Precision Header so he’s not useless in the air, Incisive Pass to link up, backed by Technical for smooth R1 movement and Relentless to keep him involved all game. In other words, he’s got really good base playstyles as well as a great playstyle+.
His full spread hits PAC 83 / SHO 89 / PAS 76 / DRI 85 / DEF 53 / PHY 84, with Advanced Forward++ at ST perfect. At around 130k, that's solid value for a clinical finisher who feels smooth in 4-3-3s with pacey wingers to make up for Martinez’s lack of space. He’s got 4* WF and SM too, which isn’t the best but still leaves him good enough to use.
David Neres – Extremely Pacey Serie A Winger
Serie A really lacks some pacey wingers in FC 26, so this David Neres card with 91 pace and dribbling may be a really good option for some. Plus, he has Quick Step+ to make his pace feel even better. His base playstyles aren’t the greatest, but he does have Gamechanger and Technical which are good.
Stats read PAC 91 / SHO 82 / PAS 80 / DRI 91 / DEF 29 / PHY 69, shining in Inside Forward++ on RW. Around 170k-230k, it’s a fair price for a decent Serie A CAM that also has base Trickster and 5* SM for people that love dribbling with the right stick. His biggest let downs are his 3* WF and a complete lack of good passing playstyles, which are important for wingers this year.
Karim Adeyemi – One of The Fastest Strikers in the Game
Adeyemi got a really fun card in this TOTW. His blistering 97 pace with both base Rapid and Quick Step makes him impossible to catch on the counter (until the script decides a 50 pace CB will catch up randomly). His Playstyle+ isn’t all that great (Precision Header), but he has Poacher++, which is perfect for how he’s meant to be played (as a counter attacking forward.
His other two base playstyles are Inventive and First Touch, which aren’t all that great but are still decent. His full stats are PAC 97 / SHO 81 / PAS 78 / DRI 86 / DEF 41 / PHY 74. At 147k, it’s a really attractive striker option, or at least a very good super sub, for any Bundesliga team.
Malick Thiaw – Great Budget PL CB For New Squads
Every TOTW has a really good budget option, and this week’s is Malick Thiaw. His TOTW 12 card packs 81 pace, 86 defending, 88 physicality, and Playstyles like Aerial, Fortress+, Jockey, Slide Tackle, and Bruiser make him really good in the air and decent on the ground.
He's also got Defender++, which is the best role for CBs. At just 72k (and dropping), it's a steal for PL/Germany links if you’re looking to upgrade the CB position or cheap. Plus he’s only 86 rated which means he should be fitting some really good evos soon, now that we’re getting 86 max evos. If you want to get your hands on him or any of the other players we’ve mentioned, or even the rest of the TOTW 12 players which you can see below, make sure to check out LootBar for cheap FC 26 players to help build your team.
Conclusion
That’s a wrap for Team of the Week 12 in FC 26. There are some fun cards for players that aren’t completely devoted to the meta, and any pace abusers’ dream in Adeyemi.
