After a lacklustre TOTW 9 last week, team of the week is back in FC 26 with another peculiar selection of players. There are some serious snubs after the highly dramatic international break, and a relatively weak selection of players. Still, there are some good picks for themed squads and a couple of great potential investments for future evos.

The Best Players in TOTW 10 in FC 26
There could have been some really fun new cards like Troy Parrott or Patrick Dorgu this week, or even meta FC 26 players like Haaland and Mbappe who scored multiple goals during the international break. But, we didn’t get any of them. Instead, it’s a disappointing batch of players. Even more so than last week, which at least had Messi and Doku. Here is our pick for the only genuinely good player this week, and why he stands out:
Tijjani Reijnders – A Much Cheaper Alternative To His Great Cornerstones Card
Reinders got a card for his great performances with the Dutch national team, and it’s the only genuinely great one in TOTW 10. This Reijnders card has almost exactly the same stats as his Cornerstones special card, which is over a million coins. But, this card is just around 300k in comparison. That’s a great price for a midfielder like Reijnders, who’s great in-game despite not having the greatest stats.
In fact, this TOTW card is arguably better. Even though he has -1 passing compared to his Cornerstones, this version actually has slightly better shooting and Incisive+, which is much better than the other version’s Tiki Taka+. But, this version has a lot fewer roles, with the only role++ being Playmaker at CM. If you’ve wanted to get your hands on his Cornerstones card, we definitely recommend checking this one out because it plays just as good, if not better.
Cheap Beasts In Team of The Week 10 in FC 26
Since there aren’t many big names or meta players this week, there are actually some good investments or even start squad options since so many new players will be joining after the recent Black Friday sale went live on the EA App and Xbox Store. Here are some of our personal favourites:
Malo Gusto – Best Budget Premier League RB
Malo Gusto’s card in TOTW 10 has an impressive 89 pace while also being 80+ in every other stat except for shooting. While this card lacks any defensive playstyles, which is why the price is near minimum, it’s a great option because of the Protect the Wings evo.
The evolution gives him improved defending and physicality, while also adding Fullback++, Slide Tackle+, and base Jockey to the card. All these improvements make him the best Premier League RB under 50k easily (14k for the card, and 30k for the evo).
Joško Gvardiol – A Good Premier League CB at a Great Price
Despite having an impressive 80 pace, 86 defending, and 84 physicality, and even Jockey+, Joško Gvardiol’s 86-rated TOTW card only costs around 60k. That’s a great price for a good PL CB. His low price is mostly explained by the lack of good base defensive playstyles, having only silver Block. Future evos could make his price skyrocket. For now, he’s only good for starter squads or buying as an investment. Not the very best, but a great card to start with.
Antonio Nusa – A Decent Option For LW/LM in Bundesliga Teams
Nusa had a great performance against Italy, earning him a spot in TOTW 10 in FC 26. It’s a pretty decent card too. For anyone with a Bundesliga team, especially if they need a good LW fast, Nusa can play the part for now His card is 4*4*, and has 93 pace. And unlike a lot of other pacey wingers, he has good shooting and passing with 85 and 82 in each stat.
His lack of good playstyles other than base Technical and Rapid are what keep him under 50k for now despite all that. But, the right evos could turn him into a great Bundesliga LW, a league which has scarce good options in that position. So, if you want to get your hands on him or any of the other players we’ve mentioned, or even the rest of the TOTW 10 players which you can see below, make sure to check out LootBar for cheap FC 26 coins to help build your team.
Conclusion
That’s a wrap for Team of the Week 10 in FC 26. There’s no players that are going to blow you away. But, the ones we’ve mentioned are some worthwhile picks in an otherwise boring selection of players.
