Goddess of Victory: NIKKE had an excellent 2025, and the developer aims to keep the ball rolling. What better way to do that than by releasing a brand new character? Label seems to be an instant fan-favorite thanks to her unique personality and looks, but is this new SSR NIKKE really worth pulling? Is there a chance that she’s another overhyped NIKKE with no use in combat?

What is Label’s role and rarity in NIKKE?
Label is an SSR NIKKE released in January 2026. She’s an iron-code unit from Elysion, classified as a Defender, and uses the Gloomy Mood AR. She’s a reserved library scholar whose imagination usually leads her into delusional reveries.
Her banner ran from January 15, 2026, to January 29, 2026, during which she was the only new character introduced in that patch. Label will enter the standard recruit pool of Ordinary/Social Point Recruit after the banner ends, meaning she’s permanently obtainable. Regardless of which banner you want to get her from, LootBar’s services are here to help!
All of Label’s skill set and mechanics in NIKKE
Label’s kit is built around her self-generated Delusion shield. Her first skill is a passive that creates a large shield at the start of combat. Label gets multiple benefits while her shield is active, such as an ATK boost, her Burst gauge charges much faster, and she takes less damage from Electric-code enemies. If the shield breaks, then Label stuns herself for 1 to 2 seconds but becomes untargetable by single-target attacks during that stun. Label’s next attack or her Burst restores the shield once it’s gone, making this Delusion shield sustainable in fights.
Label’s second skill, titled Sweetness of Love, starts when the battle begins by reducing all allies’ damage from Electric-code enemies by 70% for 5 seconds. Label’s active Burst, titled Bursting Heart, boosts her durability by increasing her max HP and makes her shield invulnerable for 10 seconds. Using her Burst triggers the Shared Delusion status, where all teammates gain a huge ATK buff.
Finally, her Burst is called Bursting Heart. Having a cooldown of 20 seconds, this prompts Label to increase her maximum HP by 20.26%, along with making her shield invulnerable for 10 seconds. While this doesn’t make Label invulnerable, which means that attacks that bypass her shield will still damage her, it’s still an awesome ability to have.
Best Label team synergy and composition in NIKKE
The best pairs for Label are defensive supports. Players can give her a high-quality defensive Doll to increase her survivability. Extra Cover HP and DEF help her take more shield breaks and self-stunes. Her own buffs benefit any DPS partner. For example, her Shared Delusion ATK buff will heavily boost a main DPS’s damage, so pairing Label with a high-damage NIKKE lets teammates utilize the ATK increase.
Label is mostly used as a counterpick instead of a core meta unit. She’s excellent in teams built to fight Electric-code enemies. For example, her second Electric resistance can nullify Arena defense teams that rely on Electric NIKKE. Her large self-ATK buff usually causes enemies to target her instead of squishier teammates, making her into a tanky shield. Label is great with squads that need a frontline against Electric threats, but she barely fits into most DPS-themed teams.
How is Label’s performance in NIKKE?
Label’s effectiveness in-game is very situational. She’s powerful in PvE when her strengths are needed. For example, her 70% damage reduction at the start can save the team on electric-heavy stages. However, she has no general utility, so players must use Label based on what she does best, which is countering Electric DPS. In the Champion Arena, her kit makes her a great counter to Electric-heavy lineups instead of being a versatile pick.
Casual and story players will find Label to be an optional pick. Outside of her strength against Electric types, it’s hard to synergize her into a team. Most story missions and daily content don’t constantly threaten players with Electric damage, so her special bonuses usually don’t get used. Conventional Defenders or support NIKKE can fill team needs, so players are better off using them instead of Label.
Should you pull for Label in NIKKE?
Label is a permanent SSR instead of a time-limited unit, meaning she will be in the standard recruit pool after her banner ends. Since she’s a permanent SSR, players should not prioritize her because they can always pull her later. Collectors and F2P players should save their currency on limited-time banners. Casual players can also hold off or wish-list her banner because not having her won’t block any content.
Players who enjoy the game around the meta should only pull her if they absolutely need her. She’s not a priority for most high-end rosters because her advantage is countering Electric-DPS enemies, so she’s effective in a couple of situations.
Conclusion
Label is an awesome addition to the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE roster. She brings some awesome defensive abilities for players to use and gives their team the sustainability it needs. Those who want this character soon should consider buying a NIKKE top-up or two so they get it soon.
