All Icon Swaps Rewards Coming in FC 26 (And Their Cost)
Player Picks and Packs
There are 15 total rewards you can choose to claim from during the upcoming Icon Swaps. These rewards include some insane packs, super enticing player picks, and Icon cards that would all be worth hundreds of thousands, or even millions of FC 26 coins. First off, we have the packs. These are the most basic rewards that anyone can get. They include an 82+ x25 pack for 1 token, an 84+ x20 for 2 tokens, an 85 x15 for 3 tokens, and lastly, an 86 x25 for 6 tokens. The 86 x25 pack sounds amazing and is every pack addict’s dream.
Then you have the player picks, which are super juiced up to make them as exciting as the amazing Icons on offer. First off, you have a 1-of-3 89+ Campaign Icon pick for 8 tokens, which isn’t that great for that many tokens. Then you have a 1-of-3 90+ Campaign Icon Pick for 10 tokens. After that is a 1-of-3 91+ Campaign Icon pick for 12 tokens. And lastly, the craziest one of them all, is a 1-of-3 93+ Campaign Icon pick for 17 tokens. While that’s a huge price, 93+ Campaign Icons are incredibly rare and you’re almost guaranteed to get one worth millions of coins.
Icon Cards Available During Swaps
The best part of Icon Swaps are of course the Icons themselves, and EA really brought out the big guns this time. For 3 tokens, there’s an 89-Rated Xabi Alonso (Tiki Taka+) who seems like a nice CM for likely minimal grind. Then you have 90-rated Zambrotta (Intercept+) for 5 tokens, which is a great deal for a likely top tier RB. After him, it starts getting really interesting.
You can get a 91-Rated Stoichkov with two Playstyles+ (Rapid+ and Finesse+) for 7 tokens. For 9 tokens, you can choose to get 92-Rated Gigi Buffon (Far Reach+). Giving all those tokens away for a goalkeeper sounds like a big ask, but Buffon will probably be the best keeper in the entire game behind only TOTY Donnarumma. If you save up even more tokens, you can trade 11 of them for 92-Rated Ferdinand with Anticipate+ and Intercept+. He’s surely going to be one of, if not THE best CB in the entire game for now, because Ferdinand’s cards are always top-tier anyway.
Another Man United legend after Ferdinand is 92-Rated Cantona (Low Driven+ and Press Proven+), who’ll be available for 14 tokens. And by far the best option of them all, but for a crazy price, is none other than R9 himself. For 19 tokens, you can get a 94-Rated Ronaldo Nazario card that has Technical+, Finesse+, crazy stats, and R9’s usual broken jammy animations. He’ll be every single player’s number one target for sure, because this is by far the best chance EA have ever given players to get a top-tier R9 card in the middle of a FIFA/FC cycle.
More Details About Icon Swaps
Now that you know all the rewards and their costs, one more thing you should know is that we’ll apparently only get 20-25 tokens during Icon Swaps. That means the best options like R9 and the 93+ icon pick will basically cost you everything. Other than that though, we don’t know much about Icon Swaps, other than that it starts on the 29th of January, 2025.
How we’ll earn those 20-25 tokens, and just how difficult it’ll be to get our hands on R9, is still to be seen. But, that isn’t stopping players from getting excited. If you don’t want to grind for him though, you can just get FC 26 players like TOTY Mbappe, Ibrahimovic, and more from LootBar to build the best possible squads!
