All puzzle box solutions in Resident Evil Requiem

puzzle box in RE9

The puzzle box solutions are mandatory for Grace to solve. Every puzzle gives players one type of Quartz, and three of them are required to open the door that you can use to leave the Care Center. Of course, this does require some knowledge of what’s going on in the game’s story, so you can buy the game from a platform such as LootBar if you find yourself confused.

In total, there are three puzzle boxes that you have to open. You can find the solutions for the first two by looking at clues from nearby pictures. However, if you want to streamline the puzzles, then below are the solutions for the puzzle boxes.

  • Chairman’s Office puzzle box - Moon > Sun > Star > Moon

  • Lead Researcher’s Office puzzle box - Star > Sun > Moon > Sun

The third puzzle box is found in the Security Manager’s Office. You can’t solve this one, as you have to bring Emily to it. This is because this puzzle is in Braille, which Grace doesn’t know. Just interact with the nearby notebook on the table and then the puzzle box, giving you the level 3 wristband.

All Blood Specimen solutions in Resident Evil Requiem

Blood sample puzzle in Resident Evil 9

Blood Specimen puzzles are handy for unlocking new crafting recipes for Grace to use. This is limited to the Care Center, though you can use it any time you can access the Blood Lab.

For this, you want to find the blood sample, and then take it to the Blood Lab and solve a small puzzle to get the connected crafting recipe.

The first blood sample is found in the Blood Lab itself. Take it to the machine and click the second square from the left once to solve the puzzle and get the crafting recipe for Handgun Ammo and Hemolytic Injectors.

The second blood sample is found in the Ward Office in the East Wing. This is found in the Records Room instead if you’re playing on Insanity. Solving this puzzle is easy, since you just have to press the middle cube once, then the second cube from the bottom. This will unlock the recipes for Med Injectors and 12.7x55mm Ammo.

The third blood sample is located in the Blood Lab, through the door that needs a level 1 wristband to be unlocked. The way to fix this one is to first pick the middle cube, and then the two corner cubes that aren't touching the center cube. In the end, press the cube in the middle of the three cubes that still have to be altered to complete the puzzle and unlock the capability to make Steroids and Stabilizers.

The last blood sample is locked to Insanity mode only. The last blood sample is found in the closet behindthe Waiting Room. After figuring this one out, you have to click the middle-left cube first, then the middle-right one, and lastly, the middle-bottom one. This will give you the ability to make the R.I.P Knife.

VIP Suite double helix puzzle in RE9

The VIP Suite in the Care Center’s courtyard has a mandatory puzzle that you must solve to go to the hidden basement area. While you can interact with multiple things here, you just want to interact with the wine bottle that’s near the entrance.
