A good chunk of the start of Resident Evil Requiem has players looking for the three Quartz as Grace. Since this is the most puzzle-filled section in the game, it makes sense that some players may find themselves confused. The good news is that learning where all three Quartz are is a good way to ensure you can get back to playing as Leon quickly.

What are the 3 Quartz in Resident Evil Requiem
Right after the first sections of Grace and Leon, after Leon saves Grace from The Girl, you get to control Grace again. If these story-related things are going through your head right now, then you may have to buy Resident Evil Requiem from a platform such as LootBar first.
While Leon tells Grace to escape from the Care Center, that’s easier said than done. The main door requires players to get three Quartz first, but the location of every Quartz is unknown. Every door in the central hallway will be locked, aside from one. This is the guard’s office, which acts as the base where you can save your game.
Head through the other door in the guard’s office to enter the medication room, where you’ll find Emily and a dead body. Grace will find the West Wing Keycard after inspecting the dead body, starting your quest to collect the Quartz.
Where to find all three Quartz in Resident Evil Requiem
There are three Quartz that you have to collect to escape from the Care Center. This quest will take you all around the center, escaping from all sorts of enemies.
Finding the Moon Quartz
Head back to the main hall and use the keycard you picked up to get in through the west wing door. From there take the left path and go straight ahead to the Kitchen since it is the only door you will be able to open at the moment. Here, you’ll spot the Chef, who you want to follow at a distance.
You’ll spot a cart blocking the path forward. Push it slowly, while ensuring the Chef doesn’t catch you. If he stops chopping, you want to stop pushing the cart, hide from his line of sight, and wait for him to start his work again. You’ll eventually create a big enough opening to let you slide past the cart and enter the other hallway.
Now, you decide to turn left and not head towards the zombie that is next to the light switch. At the end of the hall, you will find a Makeshift Knife and there is also a light switch that you can interact with. If you turn on the lights and then hide, the zombie will be attracted to the switch that you turned on. Next, you pass by him and head towards the dining room. It's here that you find a B934 Handgun lying on the floor. You pick it up and make your way, being very careful not to alert any zombies around you.
After leaving through the dining room exit, you'll find yourself in a corridor heading towards a flight of stairs that lead to the upper floor. If you go beyond the stairs, a door equipped with a valve will come into your view. However, if you open it, the valve will snap and drop from your hands. Remember it as you will have to return here in the future.
Go up the stairs and find the Bar & Lounge where you can enter. Turn right to go directly, after disregarding or killing the singing zombie and find one more hallway. Following the hall and turning right when you are able to, you will be in the Chairman's office.
Inside, you first want to turn left to find a Unicorn Trinket Box. You can open this to get the Red Jewel. Then, turn the light switch on and approach the strange puzzle box. While the clue for this puzzle is in the back office, you can just enter the following combination to solve it:
Moon, Sun, Star, Moon
This will give you the Moon Quartz, making it so that there are only two more to go.
Where is the East Wing Keycard?
Before you can continue your search for the three Quartz, you have to find the East Wing Keycard. This is possible because of the Red Jewel that you found by opening the Unicorn Trinket Box.
Return to the hallway that led to the kitchen area, but be careful. The Chef will now be patrolling the hallway, looking for someone to turn into food. You can kill or avoid him to open the door to the right before reaching the kitchen. This is the Parlor, where you can use Antique Coins to get some nice rewards.
When you’re done exploring this place, look for a body near the back of the room. Turn the body’s arm to find that he’s holding the East Wing Keycard, giving you access to that part of the Care Center.
Finding the Sun Quartz
Use the East Wing Keycard to get access to the other side of the building. The only path forward will lead you to the examination room, where you’ll find a body missing some organs. You will also see a zombie looking the opposite direction to you. Grab the Hemolytic Injector from the table next to you and unlock the ability to silently eliminate the zombie without being seen.
Another zombie will come after you, but you can just run away to the corridor at the other side without even noticing it. Keep moving, not paying attention to the light-loving zombie, and finally arrive at the blood lab. You’ll find a Blood Collector here that you can use to craft components, including additional ammo and the Hemolytic Injector you use for stealth kills.
Once you’ve collected enough blood and used the Blood Analysis machine in the treatment room to learn how to unlock Handgun Ammo and the Hemolytic Injector recipes, return to the light-obsessed zombie. Flip the light switch outside the treatment room to have the zombie walk toward that, letting you move forward, where three zombies will walk toward you.
Deal with the three zombies one way or another, either kill or cross past them and proceed directly to some stairs. Go upstairs and get into the Lead Researcher's Office, where you will see another puzzle box. Unfortunately, it is impossible to interact with it as the box is locked by a green padlock. The loyal you first have to locate a substance capable of dissolving the lock. However, finding such matters won't take you a lot of time.
Go outside the office and turn left to see a dead body. Interact with the body to find a Level 1 Wristband, and prompt a Chunk to attack you. The goal is to hide from the Chunk so that you can access the path behind him, letting you go to the Conference Room. There are a bunch of zombies here that you must kill or avoid to get the Corrosive bottle at the far back.
Use the bottle to melt the padlock and then use the following puzzle to solve the puzzle box:
Star, Sun, Moon, Sun
This will give you the Sun Quartz, which means there’s only one more to go.
Finding the Star Quartz
With the level 1 wristband in hand, return to the path leading to the kitchen. Instead of turning right, go straight and open the level 1 wristband door. Turn left to enter a safe room, where you want to pick up the wrench next to the typewriter.
Leave the room and turn left to enter the garage. At the end of the path, you’ll find the Organ Transplant Box. Follow the steps below to open this box after examining it:
Turn the box and click on the back panel
Set the bottom right option to HAND
Ensure the slider on the right is set in the middle
Press the fifth button
Press the second button
Set the bottom right option to AUTO again
This will give you the Artificial Lungs to take back to the body in the examination room. Before that, return to the door with the valve, just after the dining room. Use the wrench to open the door to get the Artificial Heart inside. Take both organs to the body in the examination room, prompting the body to get up.
Kill the newly resurrected zombie to get a level 2 wristband. Now, you want to go to the isolation ward, which is just ahead of the examination room you’re in. Use the level 2 wristband to enter, and then go straight to the security manager’s office. You’ll find the manager dead on his desk, and a torn notebook with the combination for the nearby puzzle box on the table.
Unfortunately, the puzzle box is in Braille. As you may have guessed, this means that you have to go back to Emily after grabbing the level 3 wristband from here, which will prompt a cutscene to play. You’ll then be able to carry Emily to this puzzle box, letting her solve it.
You’ll have to go outside and deal with some zombies while Emily solves the puzzle. Emily will tell you when she’s done. This will trigger a cutscene in which The Girl will kidnap Emily and take her to the basement area. This section will finally conclude when you follow The Girl.
Conclusion
It wouldn’t be a stretch to call this part of the Care Center the best part of the game, at least for horror fans. The feeling of suspense and horror is unmatched, and there are some things that those who haven’t bought a Resident Evil Requiem Steam key won’t want getting spoiled.
