What guns are available in Resident Evil Requiem?
Resident Evil Requiem has multiple types of weapons for players to use. These types are further divided into specific guns that either Grace or Leon can use. As you’ll understand after buying the game from a platform such as LootBar, both characters face off against enemies in different ways. It only makes sense that their weapon preference will be different.
Every weapon in Resident Evil Requiem is listed below:
S&S M232
B934
Alligator Snapper
Silencer 9
Matilda IMP
Requiem
Ghost Grudge
Redemption
MSBG 500
990-TAC
W870 Police
Classic 70
Marksman 1A
Gal
Stiri REVO3 A1
Freya's Needle
Clatter Carbine
RPG-7
There are also other types of weapons that you can use. These include explosives, melee weapons, and the Hemolytic Injector.
It’s important to note that this article covers all guns and attachments discoverable in the game. This means that purchasable weapons and those unlocked through special means, such as DLC and bonuses, are not counted.
All Grace gun locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Being an untrained character, it makes sense that Grace only uses fairly small weapons. Her playing style revolves around conserving ammo and making every bullet count, and all of her weapons are findable early into the game.
Requiem
As soon as Grace escapes from her shackles in the Care Center, she finds herself in a room with The Girl. This fairly short section perfectly reflects the horror-esce gameplay that Requiem wants to deliver for Grace.
After successfully opening the gate to run from The Girl, Leon will eventually show up and give a helping hand. While the two characters will get separated, Leon will give Grace his handy Requem so she can keep herself safe. It’ll only have one bullet, but it’s the thought that counts.
B934 Handgun
The Requiem’s lack of bullets will force you to sneak around the Care Center. Eventually, you’ll find yourself in a kitchen area that you have to cross, while being careful of the Chef enemy. When you do pass the kitchen, you’ll shortly find yourself in the dining room area with a large table in the center.
Ignoring all of the zombies that are too busy filling their stomachs, you’ll find the B934 Handgun on the floor in this room. This weapon uses regular handgun ammo, so you should be able to defend yourself better with it.
S&S M232 Handgun
Grace was using the S&S M232 Handgun during the intro section of the game. But it was taken from her by Gideon. Fortunately, you can find it lying next to the Bar & Lounge safe, where you can pick it up with little difficulty.
The S&S M232 boasts slightly higher firepower than the B934, which is great for players who want to make every headshot count.
All Leon gun and attachment locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Since Leon’s playing style is more reminiscent of Resident Evil 4 or 6, it makes sense that he has access to more weapons. From powerful shotguns to devastating sniper rifles, you can find, buy, and even upgrade or customize various weapons as Leon.
MSBG 500
After escaping from Victor Gideon’s clutches, Leon comes face-to-face with a Chunk in the attic area. The monster is first seen in the middle of eating someone, and that poor soul drops the MSBG 500 for you to pick up.
Since Leon doesn’t have the Requiem during this time, the MSBG 500 is crucial for making quick work of the Chunk. Just pick the weapon from the ground and start blasting at the enemy, picking up bullets from nearby if you want.
Compensator for the Alligator Snapper
Directly after defeating the Chunk monster in the attic, you’ll find a warped closet to your right in the very next room. Use Leon’s axe to open it, revealing the compensator inside. This attachment can be applied to Leon’s starting Alligator Snapper pistol to reduce the muzzle rise.
Classic 70 Sniper Rifle
While Grace makes her way out of the Care Center through the main door, Leon searches Gideon’s office for more clues. Eventually, he finds Grace and Emily attempting to escape from some zombies after their helicopter crashes.
Leon picks up the nearby Classic 70 Sniper Rifle automatically during a cutscene and uses it to help protect the two. While not the best, this sniper’s more than enough to take down most enemies with a clean headshot.
Gal SMG
Leon can just buy an SMG from the item box, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find one for free. During his Racoon City section, you’ll have to find two batteries to open the parking garage’s shutter and continue forward.
The Gal SMG is found in the same room as the battery you find in the underground parking garage area. It’s very easy to just run past it without noticing it, but picking it up is a good idea if you want a nice weapon with sustained automatic fire.
Marksman 1A Sniper Rifle
A good chunk of the Racoon City section involves Leon looking for the three detonator parts. During this time, you’ll eventually find the BSAA Container Key. When you do, you can head east of the gas station to find a hidden container marked as BSAA Container 03.
Open this container to find some zombies waiting for you. Of course, this isn’t all, as you’ll also get to pick up the Marksman 1A Sniper Rifle. This semi-automatic sniper rifle is great for when you need speed instead of power.
Silver Finish Scope for the Classic 70
After Leon’s awesome motorcycle section, he finally returns to the RPD building. One thing leads to another, and another Tyrant is chasing after Leon in this building. Escape the encounter and exit the building from the back.
Instead of moving forward toward the orphanage, turn left and enter the RPD building’s parking garage. You’ll find a container here with the silver finish scope that you can use on the Classic 70 to make hitting long-range targets easier.
W870 Police Shotgun
Continue forward after escaping from the Tyrant to eventually trigger a cutscene. Resident Evil 2 players will recognize this as Kendo’s Gun Shop. Instead of moving forward, check the shelf in the area to find the W870 Police Shotgun.
Despite being a free weapon, this shotgun is arguably the best in the game. It boasts excellent firepower and can make quick work of most enemies from a close-ranged distance. Still, some players prefer taking fights from afar. If you aren’t sure what sort of player you are yet, then you may have to buy Resident Evil Requiem Steam key and find out.
Conclusion
Like most modern Resident Evil games, Requiem lets players pick and choose from all sorts of weapons. Still, it’s awesome that the game lets you discover some weapons to use for free, pushing players to explore the world even more.
