New Powers System
Players while on spawn island can select from 4 different powers before landing these include:
- Hot:
This Power-up allows the character to be engulfed in flames and shoot out long-distance heat waves that damage the enemies upon impact, you can also go close to enemies to hit them with fire infused melee damage.
- Water:
Using this Power-up you can make a cover shield out of water that suppresses enemy fire, while this shield doesn’t completely negate the damage it is reduced by 70-80% during my testing of the beta version but it may change in the final update, this power-up is must if you like taking fights in the open and the shield comes in clutch for that.
- Wind Boost:
This power-up makes your character ride a cloud at high speed useful for getting out of enemy gunfire or to get a sneak on the enemies from far, it looks very similar to the “Nimbus Cloud” Goku rides in the show “Dragon Ball Z”.
- Nature’s Touch:
Saved the best power-up for last, this ability allows the player to control a green spirit deer that the player can send you to scout for enemies, but the best part isn’t that, it has a huge range and you can teleport where the deer spots, this is a game changer as you can use your deer to flank behind an enemy and take them down by teleporting easily, some insane plays will come out of this ability and will be the most popular in the community in my opinion.

New Areas to Explore:
This update will introduce 3 new areas to the classic mode map each having different new features and upgraded loot:
- The Four Guardians Sect:
The Four Guardians Sect is located atop a towering mountain, where elemental forces converge. Players can approach the base of the mountain and be automatically flown to the sky for a parachute jump. This area includes elemental devices like Fire Stones, which grant a speed boost and a flame slide effect, Water Geysers, which launch players into the air, allowing for slow descent, and Wood Vines, which allow for easy climbing. Additionally, players can use elemental arts on Refined Crates to explode them for supplies.
- The Elemental Mastery Pavilion:
Contains training halls for the Sect disciples, and also features elemental devices. Within this area, players can complete elemental trials in the Cultivation Chamber for secret treasures, feed pandas in the Serene Bamboo Forest for a Panda vehicle, and use the Spirit Gate for one-way travel to the Four Guardians Sect.
- The Mystic Enclave:
Finally, the Mystic Enclave can be accessed via Mystic Scrolls, where players can interact with a meditation cushion to open a crate, and then use another scroll to leave the area.
The WOW editor has been improved with features such as the Playtest option and custom presets. A new Dog Tag Pickup object has also been added.
New Vehicle Drifting and Auto-Drive Feature:
A new vehicle drifting feature has also been added you can now hold the handbrake button while turning the vehicle to drift in it and use the directional input button to steer the vehicle. The new Auto-Drive feature is also a game changer, especially if you’re trying to reach the circle in the end and don’t want to keep holding the accelerate button, you can also switch seats while auto-drive in active and shoot your gun, this will make for some exciting car chases in the game now.
New Panda Vehicle:
PUBG Devs like to keep adding new things in the game to keep is fresh and fun to play, this time they are adding a rideable panda!, honestly I was sold on this update when I saw this feature. The Panda is a 2-seater Vehicle, found in the bamboo forest, which can switch between basic and rolling forms, each with unique characteristics.
Themed Arena Mode and Survival Mode:
The new themed arena mode is located in a recreation of the Four Guardians Sect. This mode features unlimited respawns where players respawn next to a teammate. The first team that eliminates the specified number of enemies in the given time wins. In the Survival Drop mode, the playzone will appear and shrink at random locations, causing players outside of it to take damage over time. Additionally, air drops appear randomly during the match.
New Gameplay Mechanics and Improvements:
In themed matches, surviving teams are divided into groups, and each group is assigned a Spirit Collecting Bell. Interacting with the bell starts a countdown, after which a supply crate will appear.
The WOW editor has been improved with new features, such as the ability to start a playtest from the character's current location, edit and save custom presets, and hide advanced features by default. There is also a new Livik map template, a backpack tab for contested objects, and a dog tag pickup object used for new gameplay.
New Cosmetics:
The recent additions to the game include new sets and skins. The Rose Specter Set and Midnight Revenant Set are introduced along with weapon skins for the ACE32, M16A4, MINI-14, and S686. There is also a Scooter skin and a Female character set with pink and black color combination. Furthermore, there are Ultimate Sets which include upgradable skins for the M416 with a neon green, red, and gold theme with a tiger icon, the AMR with a neon color theme, and the QBZ which features a golden, white, and purple color theme. The update will also include the Serpengleam set and the Boxerbolt Set, a 3-wheeler skin, an upgradable SKS skin, and a Mythic emote. A collaboration with Dodge will bring vehicles like the Dodge Challenger LIME, Dodge Charger FUCHSIA, and Dodge Challenger Hellfire.
