What is the Heliolisk & Buneary Wonder Pick Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

The Heliolisk & Buneary Wonder Pick Event is an event where players can potentially get their hands on some special Pokémon. Considering the event’s name, it makes sense that Heliolisk and Buneary are the featured Pokémon, though that doesn’t mean that players can’t potentially get other in-game goodies during it.

Like with other Wonder Pick Events, players can participate both with and without Wonder Stamina. Like always, the Heliolisk & Buneary Wonder Pick Event will have two types of picks. The free picks are the bonus picks, while the paid ones are called Chansey picks.

Bonus picks

There are four different combinations of bonus picks that players could get during the event. Every time players check the Wonder Pick screen after it refreshes, there will be a 20% chance of them getting a bonus pick instead of a regular one. Since these picks are free, players don’t have to worry about consuming or saving any Wonder Stamina.

For all four combinations of bonus picks, four picks are guaranteed to be the following:

• Event Shop Ticket (Goomy) x1

• Event Shop Ticket (Goomy) x1

• Wonder Hourglass x1

• Wonder Hourglass x1

The last pick is where things get interesting. 

• There’s a 35% chance the final card will be Heliolisk from Crimson Blaze

• There’s a 35% chance the final card will be Buneary from Crimson Blaze

• There’s a 15% chance the final card will be the promo Heliolisk

• There’s a 15% chance the final card will be the promo Buneary

Chansey picks

The Chansey picks are much rarer, since there’s only a 2.5% chance of players seeing one every time the Wonder Pick screen refreshes. However, all five cards are guaranteed to be promo cards, making it easier for players to get the event-exclusive cards.

Like with bonus picks, there are four combinations of Chansey picks.

• The first one has one Heliolisk and four Buneary

• The second has four Heliolisk and one Buneary

• The third has three Heliolisk and two Buneary

• The final has two Hellolisk and one Buneary

All four combinations have a 25% chance of appearing, but Chansey picks always set players back two Wonder Stamina.
