Pokémon GO celebrates its 10th anniversary
Pokémon GO’s 10th Anniversary event is the entire season. Called Memories of Motion, the anniversary-themed season will last until June 2 and will be filled with awesome quests, shiny opportunities, and other rewards. Of course, LootBar can help you get more premium rewards.
During this anniversary, a GO Pass will be available. You can complete rewards to earn all sorts of rewards by increasing your rank. There’s also a deluxe version that has even faster progression and better rewards.
You can complete Field Research tasks to unlock Research Breakthroughs. This can lead to an encounter with one of the following Pokémon:

Every day of the week, aside from Saturday, during this season has a new Daily Discovery experience. You can take advantage of this to increase your overall progression speed.
For Sunday:
Incense, Lure Modules, Glacial Lure Modules, Mossy Lure Modules, Magnetic Lure Modules, and Rainy Lure Modules that are activated on this day last twice as long

For Tuesday:
Tuesday has PokéStop Showcases, with up to 20 different categories

For Thursday:
4x more Stardust from win rewards
The maximum number of sets you can play increases to ten for a total of fifty battles
For Friday:
Up to two special trades on this day, with an increased chance of Lucky Trades
10% discount on Stardust used for trades
Two guaranteed Candy XL from trades for trainers who are over level 31
How do shiny Pokémon work in Memories of Motion?
During this season, any evolved Pokémon in the wild can be shiny if its shiny version has already debuted in the game. There’s also an increased chance of encountering shiny Pokémon during raid battles or when hatching them from eggs.
You can also encounter a shiny Pokémon after rescuing it from Team GO Rocket if its shiny form has debuted already. Rocket Leaders and Giovanni will drop shinies more often.
Special research story
It can’t be an exclusive event-themed season without a special research story. This time, it’s Pressure Rising. This story is available to all trainers for free. Those who complete Pressure Rising after completing the Glitz and Glam special research will encounter the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion.
This special research story won’t expire. You’ll get Volcanion candy if you’ve already accessed the Pokémon GO Fest 2025 special research.
