Rosetta: Arete NEW! Dark / Trueslash Breaker |
Withering Crown introduces the debut of Rosetta: Arete, a new Dark-element Construct who represents an evolution of the traditional tank role. As the first character released under the new Breaker class, Rosetta: Arete specializes in weakening enemies while enhancing the team’s overall combat performance. The Breaker class can be understood as the tank equivalent of Amplifiers, which serve as upgraded versions of Supports.
Compared to existing Dark defensive units such as Karenina: Scire, Rosetta: Arete provides stronger enemy shred and more consistent DPS, making her a clear upgrade for Dark teams. As the first Breaker-class Construct, she establishes the core design and expectations for how this new role will function in future Punishing Gray Raven updates.
PGR Withering Crown Coatings
Withering Crown introduces several new and returning coatings, including Night Sonata for Bianca: Crepuscule, the debut coating Gilded Creed for Rosetta: Arete, Chromatic ★ Night for Nanami: Star Trail, and Blossom Breeze for Discord: Secator, alongside rerun coatings for Luna: Oblivion, Hanying: Solacetune, and No. 21: Feral.
Rosetta: Arete - Gilded Creed (SFX Coating)
Gilded Creed is Rosetta: Arete’s debut coating, released alongside the Withering Crown update. The coating is available at a discounted price of 168 Black Cards, reduced from the standard 240 Black Cards during the event period. It serves as Rosetta’s primary cosmetic option at launch and is a straightforward purchase for Commandants planning to build or main her.
Nanami: Star Trail - Chromatic ★ Night (SFX Coating)
Chromatic ★ Night is a new coating for Nanami: Star Trail introduced in Withering Crown. Like Rosetta’s debut coating, it is offered at a discounted cost of 168 Black Cards, down from the usual 240 Black Cards, making it an accessible cosmetic option for Commandants who regularly use Nanami.
Bianca: Crepuscule - Night Sonata (SFX Gacha Coating)
Night Sonata is a gacha-exclusive SFX coating for Bianca: Crepuscule. The coating includes a fully voiced coating story and a new main interface lobby background, placing it in the premium cosmetic category. Commandants can expect to spend at least 10,000 Black Cards to obtain the coating. An additional 7,500 Black Cards to unlock the exclusive lobby background. This brings the total expected cost to approximately 17,500 Black Cards.
Discord: Secator - Blossom Breeze (Non-SFX Coating)
Blossom Breeze is a non-SFX coating for Discord: Secator available for free during the Withering Crown update. Commandants can obtain this coating by participating in the version sign-in event, requiring no Black Card spending.
Rerun Coatings
Withering Crown also brings back several previously released coatings, giving Commandants another opportunity to obtain cosmetics that were unavailable during earlier updates. The following rerun coatings return during this patch:
Luna: Oblivion - Moonlight Soliloquy
Hanying: Solacetune - Tapestry of Spring
No. 21: Feral - Tiny Bad Wolf
These rerun coatings are available through the coating shop during the Withering Crown update.
