Team of the Week won’t be wowing anyone this week with its player selection. After Messi, Kane, and Osimhen last week, TOTW 14 in FC 26 doesn’t have many heavy hitters to make it exciting. But, there are still a few players in there that some people might want for their themed squads, or because they play for their favourite clubs, or anything else like that. We have a few picks of our own that stand out this week compared to the rest.
Winter Wildcards is here now, and the players in that promo are a lot more exciting than this TOTW. But, if you want any players from TOTW in particular, Winter Wildcards, or even any other promo in the game, you can visit LootBar to buy FC 26 coins at great prices. Let’s go over the ones we recommend from TOTW 14 before you do anything like that, though.

The Best Player From Team of The Week 14 – Raphinha
There’s no debate about 90-rated Raphinha being easily the best card in TOTW 14. It’s a pretty good mid-budget card for La Liga teams, especially if you need a LW because that’s where he’s suited best despite his CAM primary position. Rapid+, Inside Forward++, base Trickster, base Finesse, and decent attacking stats all around make him perfect for cutting inside and breaking out on counters. Raphinha also has some really good animations and feels really smooth on the ball. He controls way better than this card’s 88 dribbling suggests.
In fact, this card is almost identical to his Thunderstruck card, with the only key difference being that it has less playstyles. Despite that, it’s half the price (only 172k currently) and feels nearly just as good. The only real downside to this card, just like his Thunderstruck, is that Raphinha is left footed at LW and has only 4 star WF, which can be a major downside while cutting in sometimes. Still, if you’re a Barca fan or need a LW for your La Liga team, this card is worth checking out.
A Couple of Cheap Beasts Worth Checking Out
Raphinha is the only genuinely “good” card in this entire TOTW. Other than him, everyone else is mid-tier at best or complete fodder. Which is a real shame, because Bruno Fernandes, Morgan Rogers, and other potentially great cards should've easily made the cut after their great performances. Still, there are a few that stood out among the rest and we chose to highlight these two in particular because of that:
Hugo Ekitike – Liverpool’s Surprise Signing of the Season
After all the money they splashed on Isak and Wirtz, Ekitike being Liverpool’s new main man is definitely a surprise. Another good performance while the other signings struggle have given him a spot in TOTW 14, and it’s actually a really decent investment. He’s an 86-rated Premier League striker that players for a top team, has high pace despite being 6’3’ really good base playstyles, and no Playstyle+. Ekitike is currently close to discard price (only 17.5k right now) but plays much better than the price tag suggests.
But, how he plays isn’t the main attraction. It’s the fact that he’s a perfect fit for future evos thanks to his overall and could turn into an amazing striker. Buying him as investment if you have the coins to spare could work out really well. And who knows; maybe he’ll end up being your surprise signing of the year too just like he has been for Liverpool so far.
Ibrahim Sangaré – A Potentially Great Premier League CDM
One surprisingly cheap card in TOTW 14 is Ibrahim Sangaré, who has Anticipate+, 86 defending, 88 physicality, 80 pace, decent passing as well as dribbling, and 6’3’ height. On top of that, he has base Incisive, Long Ball, and Press Proven. Basically some really good stats and Playstyles for a CDM. Yet he’s still close to minimum price (currently only 13.25k).
For a Premier League CDM with a huge potential for future evos, that price is nearly nothing. An evolution that gives him a slight stat boost and base Intercept or even Tiki Taka could turn Sangaré into a serious beast. He’s already surprisingly decent for the price and has the room to be even better if any good CDM evolutions come out soon. Except his price to go up when that happens since so many players use PL squads, and there aren’t many good cheap CDMs to choose from.
Other than these three we’ve mentioned, no one stands out this week. But, you can see them all for yourself above. If any of them catch your eye or you want to check out the two we highlighted, go to LootBar to buy FC 26 players at the best prices and fill your Ultimate Team squad with all your favourite players!
