New Players Coming To Ultimate Team In EA FC 25

As each season passes we discover more and more wonder kids that burst onto the scene but they’re sometimes too young, or make their mark too late into the season to be added. We’ve picked out 15 of our favorite stars who didn't have an Ultimate Team card in FC 24 but will do so in FC 25. 13 players will be making their Ultimate Team debut, one returning favorite, and one potential Icon...

Returning Players

Gianluigi Buffon - With the Italian goalkeeper featuring on the cover of FC 25, it’s all but confirmed that he’ll be featuring in the new game. We’re 99.9% sure he’ll be coming as an Icon. It would be pretty weird to have him as a main cover star and just include him as a hero.

Luis Suarez - 2 thirds of MSN have been reunited in Miami and hopefully will return in FC 25. Luis Suarez was missing this year due to him only joining the club in December 2023, months into the new game. It would have been nice to see him added with the new cards (Cazorla, Sanchez etc) as he would have been perfect for some promos!

New Players

Lamine Yamal - He is that guy in world football and has only just turned 17. The Barcelona winger won Young Player of the Tournament and Euro 2024 and was well in contention for the main award. He’s already racked up 51 appearances for the Barcelona first team, we’re expecting a card similar to FIFA 18 Mbappe in terms of rating…

Olivia Smith - Liverpool’s new record signing was old enough to be included in Ultimate Team this year but was playing for Sporting CP who are unfortunately unlicensed. She was awarded Best Young Player in both the 2024 Gold Cup and Portugal's top flight last season where she scored 13 goals across 18 league games.

Kenan Yildiz - Yildiz started 4 of Turkey’s 5 matches at Euro 2024 and has been impressive for Juventus across the 23/24 season. He’s contributed to 5 goals in just under 1,000 minutes mainly featuring from the bench.

Vitor Roque - This won’t be the last Barcelona youngster to feature on our list, with Xavi handing out plenty of opportunities across the past season. The Brazilian managed to score twice towards the back end of the season, and just like Yildiz, these minutes mainly came from the bench (2 starts from 14).

Endrick - Is Endrick Real Madrid’s new superstar? The Brazilian will link up with Los Blancos for the upcoming season after two successful seasons with Palmeiras. Spanish fans will already be familiar with the name as he scored against them in a friendly earlier this year. We’ve opted for a 76 rating, but expect to see this boosted heavily via Evolutions and Promo Cards.

Lucas Beraldo - We promise this is the last of the Brazilians. Lucas Beraldo made the switch from Sao Paulo to Paris in January of this year, once again meaning it was too late to feature in FC 24. He’s been a solid addition next to Marquinhos in the back line and we expect a 76 rated for the defender in FC 25.

Aleksandar Pavlovic - The 23/24 season was a breakout year for Pavlovic but it could have been even better. He was initially included in the German squad for Euro 2024 but had to pull out just days before due to tonsillitis. We’re sure he’ll feature in many more tournaments for the Germans, but a home tournament would have been a great way to top off his season.

Fermin Lopez - Despite being 20 at the start of the season, and confirmed to be in Xavi’s plans for the upcoming season, Fermin Lopez was nowhere to be seen in FC 24 Ultimate Team. After 42 appearances for Barca this season, surely he can’t be missed out again?

Two more La Masia graduates feature in the final part of the list, one of whom has already left to join Chelsea.

Pau Curbasi

Marc Guiu

Alfie Gilchrist

Ethan Mbappe

Ethan Nwaneri

Nothing is confirmed, these are just predictions based on age and their eligibility to now be included in Ultimate Team.
