New Identity V Aura Rise Time Series Theme and Costumes

Identity V continues to surprise players with awesome costumes for them to get their hands on. While regular costumes are cool, the ones that are part of themes are usually the ones that really stand out. It’s probably because of this that the game will release a brand-new costume theme for players to get called Aura Rise Time, or ART.

The Aura Rise Time costume series, also called ART for short, is a new collection in Identity V. Most costume series have a specific theme involved, and the theme for this one is modern art. According to the live stream where this series was revealed, this series draws inspiration from modern art movements such as Wassily Kandinsky.

There may only be one confirmed costume so far, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more. At least two more costumes were already teased to be coming to the game for this series, even if they aren’t confirmed. Of course, if you want to get them as soon as they come out, you can look toward LootBar.

What costume is part of the Aura Rise Time series in Identity V?

Disassociation costume for the “Fool’s Gold.”

Currently, only one costume has been confirmed as part of the ART series. This costume is the A-tier Disassociation costume for the “Fool’s Gold.” Norton Campbell will lead the fray as the first character to get a costume that’s part of this series, and it makes sense when you look at what it’s based on.

The costume’s white suit has a lining that represents art. But it isn’t what really stands out. Norton’s weapon is from a well-known piece of art that’s supposed to represent the balance between logic and passion. The art this costume is based on is Delicate Tension by Wassily Kandinsky.

Those who are familiar with this art piece will likely already have connected the dots. Fool’s Gold’s lore states that his body was broken and reassembled. This perfectly resonates with the deconstructive core of Kandinsky's paintings. The artist’s abstract idea of art may be stationary, but this Disassociation costume makes it a moving abstract painting.

This costume will join the Illusion Hall on April 9, 2026. The good news is that this is a permanent costume, so you don’t have to rush to get your hands on it.

Upcoming Aura Rise Time costumes in Identity V

The livestream that revealed this series also came with an animation. To most, the animation is just nicely animated. However, looking further into things, the animation actually gives hints for what upcoming costumes players can expect.

For starters, the animation showed what looked like The Photographer standing there taking a picture. In the background, you could see Luigi Russolo's painting “Solidity of Fog.” This suggests that Joseph’s costume will likely be based on that, primarily showcasing blue colors.

Then, there’s Theo van Doesburg's painting “The Card Players” that also appeared in the animation. While a character isn’t in sight, you can clearly see the Fire Investigator’s hat near the painting, suggesting that Florian will get a costume based on this painting.

Looking at how big a deal the developer is making this theme out to be, these won’t be the only costumes to come to the game. The animation could also tease some more costumes, but it’s hard to make out because of the number of modern art pieces the game can take inspiration from. For example, there was a bust nearby some paintings, which could suggest that the Sculptor will also get a costume as part of this series.

How much are the Aura Rise Time costumes in Identity V?

Design for Fool's Gold's costume

Most themed costumes in Identity V are fairly expensive. The good news is that this doesn’t apply to the Aura Rise Time costumes. Every costume in the ART series will cost 688 Echoes, primarily because of their A-tier status. There’s a chance that high-tiered costumes could be added to this series, but it’s very unlikely.

As mentioned before, these costumes aren’t limited-time costumes. This means that you can take your time when thinking of getting any costume that’s part of this series. Of course, you’ll need to top up your Identity V account to get enough Echoes and unlock these exclusive items.

Conclusion

The Aura Rise Time costumes in Identity V are already making waves in the community. While this series doesn’t have too many costumes to choose from, there’s no doubt that any costume that’s added to it will be awesome. The game hasn’t introduced many non-collaboration costumes recently, so it’s nice to see Identity V switch things up.
