New Heroes could be coming to Ultimate Team in EA FC 26, with eight new players revealed as part of the latest EA Sports FC Online update.
Every year, EA Sports adds new Heroes and Icons to Ultimate Team, with 13 new Heroes being added ahead of EA FC 25 's launch, including the likes of Eden Hazard, Maicon, and Jaap Stam. Earlier this year we saw Heroes added to EA FC 25 Ultimate Team during the game's cycle with Victor Ibarbo, Gervinho and Seydou Doumbia all added to the game as part of the FUT Birthday Team 2 promo, something which is very rare.
Leakers got hold of this information months in advance which ruined the wow factor of the famous Roma trio's return to the game, but now, it seems that EA may have revealed some new EA FC 26 Heroes at least six months away from release.
New FUT Heroes – will they be coming to EA FC 26?
EA Sports FC Mobile is a PC and Mobile version of EA Sports FC, which is only available in South Korea, China, Thailand and Vietnam. In the latest blog post from the official Nexon website, one of the developers of EA Sports FC Online alongside EA Sports, 19 new Hero items were confirmed to be added to the game alongside new Icon Franz Beckenbauer.

Out of these 19 Hero items, 11 of them are already available in EA FC 25, but there are eight new Heroes included in the update that aren't available in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team.
These are the eight unseen Heroes that have been revealed in EA Sports FC Online:
- Cesc Fabregas (Spain)
- Michael Carrick (England)
- Marouane Fellaini (Belgium)
- Mario Mandzukic (Croatia)
- Andrea Barzagli (Italy)
- Jan Koller (Czech Republic)
- Estaban Cambiasso (Argentina)
- Gilberto Silva (Brazil)
The eight players listed qualify for the Hero status in Ultimate Team, though heads may be turned by the inclusion of Cesc Fabregas, with the Spaniard potentially better suited as an Icon than Hero. All these players were added to EA Sports FC Online in an official update to the game, and with EA FC 25 sharing a license with the game, this means that we could see these players added to EA FC 26 Ultimate Team.
With so many Heroes added to Ultimate Team annually, it makes sense that these eight will also be added to EA FC 26 Ultimate Team and EA Sports FC Mobile later this year, and if they are added, EA may have killed the hype by releasing them in another one of its games months in advance to EA FC 26's release.
