Aurelia Skill Breakdown

Aurelia's basic attack multipliers are relatively low on their own, so standard combos are not where her damage comes from. Her riding state (Staccato) fires jellyfish blasts at a very high frequency, and her Critical Riposte (Syncopation) is her most important damage skill. Nearly all of her output flows through these two actions.

An important detail: the special dodge during Staccato is not automatic. You must actively press dodge when an enemy attacks, and if timed correctly, four jellyfish projectiles are fired. You can then follow up with the normal Critical Riposte for additional damage.

Aurelia Best Arc (Weapon)

Best in Slot - Ready-Ready (S-Rank)

Ready-Ready is Nanally's signature Arc, but it functions as Aurelia's strongest weapon option. Its high base ATK of 570 and 24% Crit Rate substat give her an excellent stat foundation. The weapon skill provides three benefits that all naturally align with Aurelia's rotation:

• A permanent 15% ATK increase.
• A 15% damage bonus to Basic Attack and Critical Riposte for 15 seconds after casting a Skill or Ultimate, stacking up to twice for 30% total. This directly buffs Syncopation, her primary damage source.
• A Boss damage buff: using Skill grants a Left Tiger Talisman, using Ultimate grants a Right Tiger Talisman, and obtaining both within 15 seconds activates the Commander Tiger Talisman, adding 10% damage against bosses for 10 seconds. Aurelia's standard Skill → Ultimate rotation triggers this buff automatically each cycle.

Best F2P Option - Stellar Veil (S-Rank, Free on Day 10)

Stellar Veil is Aurelia's own signature Arc and is obtainable for free. Rather than Crit Rate, it provides ATK% as its substat. Its weapon effect increases Aurelia's Psyche DMG by 12.00%. Increase Crit DMG dealt 2.00% for 5 seconds when dealing Pysche DMG, up to 10 stacks. Triggers at most once every 0.1 second, through her frequent attacks. Given how often Aurelia fires jellyfish, she reaches and sustains maximum stacks almost immediately. The gap between Ready-Ready and Stellar Veil is not large. making it a genuinely competitive free option over time.

Aurelia Best Cartridges and Modules

Best in Slot - Devil's Blood Curse

Devil's Blood Curse is Aurelia's strongest Cartridge set when Hathor is on the team to enable Stain (Psyche + Lakshana reaction). The 2-piece gives a consistent 10% Psyche DMG bonus across all her attacks. The 4-piece doubles from 18% to 36% against Stain-affected enemies - a massive damage increase with strong uptime when running Hathor. This set can be shared with Haniel unless both are on the same team.

Second Best - Lost Radiance

Lost Radiance is the top alternative for teams without Hathor or reliable Stain uptime. It also has an excellent build path - two Type III Module slots are naturally included, and up to two more can be added, granting a 40% ATK bonus through the Console specialization alone. This makes its actual damage output competitive with Devil's Blood Curse in non-Stain scenarios.

Shadow Creed is another option cited by some players, offering a 25% ATK bonus on its 4-piece, but its build path lacks Type III Module support, limiting how much you benefit from Aurelia's Console specialization bonus.

Aurelia gains +10% ATK for each Type III Module equipped. Prioritize a build path that maximizes Type III slots regardless of which Cartridge set you choose.

Aurelia has a substantial built-in damage bonus from her kit, which makes Crit Rate her single most valuable main stat. ATK% is the only reasonable alternative if Crit Rate is unavailable on a piece.

Aurelia Best Team Compositions

Team 1 - Recommended 

This is the strongest all-around team for Aurelia. Hathor provides Stain access and contributes high burst damage when her Ultimate and six stacks are ready. Esper Zero offers consistent Remora or Blossom reactions and works as a pseudo-battery. Jiuyuan brings off-field Blossom damage and helps fuel Charge reactions, which generate significant Ultimate energy for both Aurelia and Hathor. All three supports require minimal field time, allowing Aurelia to stay on-field almost continuously.

If Jiuyuan is unavailable, Haniel is a direct replacement and adds team-wide buffing to the setup.

Team 2 - Nova Reaction Team

Running Daffodill activates Nova, which triggers Aurelia's Harmonics passive for extra Psyche DMG hits on Nova expiry. Hathor stays in for Stain and burst damage. Haniel is preferred in the third slot as a buffer, though Esper Zero functions as an energy battery for Hathor if needed.

Recommended unlock order: A6→ A2 →A1→ A3 → A5 → A4

R3 - Universal Harmony: Increases skill levels of Cadenza Aria and Canon Chorus by 1.R6 -Shared Melody: All allies gain +8% Psyche DMG for 15 seconds when Aurelia enters or extends Cadenza state. This primarily benefits Aurelia herself, unless the team includes other Psyche DPS like Haniel or Fadia.

How to Play Aurelia in NTE

Aurelia is an on-field main DPS who rewards stamina discipline and well-timed dodges. Her core rotation is straightforward once the muscle memory is there:

1. Cast Cadenza Aria (Skill) to enter Cadenza state - all jellyfish blast damage increases by 70% for 12 seconds.
2. Hold Dodge to mount the jellyfish and enter Staccato mode. Jellyfish fire automatically at nearby enemies, draining 5 stamina per second. Do not enter this state with less than 40 stamina, or you will be locked out.
3. Watch for enemy attacks. When an enemy telegraphs a hit, press Dodge to perform the special enhanced dodge, firing four jellyfish projectiles and counting as a Critical Dodge.
4. Follow up with Basic Attack to trigger Syncopation (Critical Riposte) for additional damage.
5. Hold Dodge again to re-enter Staccato mode. Repeat the loop.
6. Use Ultimate on cooldown for burst AoE damage and light enemy grouping.
7. Use Dissonance (Support Skill) on cooldown when running a Stain team to maintain reaction uptime.

With A2 unlocked, every Critical Dodge automatically refreshes or extends Cadenza state, removing the need to manually track the 12-second buff window. The main learning curve is the wind-up delay when entering Staccato - holding dodge has a brief animation before Aurelia mounts her jellyfish, which takes a few sessions to internalize.
