NTE 1.3 Release Date

The Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 update, titled Rising from the Moonlight Fog, is scheduled to release on August 19, 2026. The patch will continue the main storyline while also introducing a major summer-themed expansion to Hethereau.

NTE 1.3 New Characters and Banners

Version 1.3 introduces Zankou and Linko as the two new limited S-Class characters. There will also be two major rerun banners during the update.

Phase 1: Zankou and Nanally

The first half of Version 1.3 runs from August 19 to September 9.

  • Alluring Shadows – Zankou

  • The Ichi-Daime – Nanally rerun

Zankou will make her playable debut during this phase, while Nanally returns on a rerun banner.

Solo

The limited boards share the same S-Class character pity counter, Points Gift progress, and Board Modification progress, making the system more flexible for players deciding between the available characters.

The first phase will also feature the Spellbound Special Arc Research Program for Zankou and Tiger Special for Nanally.

Phase 2: Linko and Hotori

The second half runs from September 9 to September 30.

  • Surfing All Channels! – Linko

  • Misty Tipsy Style – Hotori rerun

Linko becomes playable in Phase 2, while Hotori receives a rerun at the same time.

SoloLinko

Their corresponding Arc Research Programs will also arrive, with Chorus Special available for Linko and Bright Moon Special returning for Hotori.

For players saving resources, NTE Version 1.3 could therefore be a demanding patch, especially if you are interested in both new S-Class characters or their signature Arcs.

New Story Chapter: Rising from the Moonlight Fog

One of the biggest reveals from the NTE 1.3 livestream was the next main story chapter. Rising from the Moonlight Fog brings the Scarlet Letter storyline toward its conclusion and connects plot points introduced throughout the previous chapters.

The story takes players into a new location anomaly known as Fogden, where the Appraiser joins forces with members of Eibon and the Bureau. The conflict centers around the Fogden Game and the confrontation with Madam T and the Scarlet Letter.

Several important characters are set to appear, including Hotori, Chaos, Linko, Nitsa, and Zankou. The livestream also revealed more of Zankou’s past, making her one of the central characters of the Version 1.3 story.

New Area: Duskmoor

The livestream confirmed Duskmoor as a major new explorable location.

Located on the northwestern side of Hethereau, Duskmoor features long roads, a large beach area, and several activities built around the summer theme.

The region is designed to make greater use of vehicles and includes new water-based gameplay. Players can participate in beach volleyball, water races, jet ski activities, and other events while exploring the area.

Duskmoor should also give players another reason to spend time outside the usual city routes, particularly because several NTE 1.3 events are directly connected to the new location.

New Outfits

Version 1.3 is heavily focused on summer cosmetics. New outfits were shown for several characters, including Zankou, Linko, Mint, Nanally, Chaos, and the Appraiser.

Zankou receives several additional looks, including Twilight Noir, Autumn Vignette, Moonlit Courtyard, and Searing Lavender.

Linko also receives new outfits including Faded Spring and Surfing Among Stars, alongside an outfit tied to reaching Bond Level 10.

Depending on the outfit, they can be obtained through the Mall, Mystery Boxes, Skin Perks, or Bond progression.

New Vehicles and Stillmeadow House

NTE 1.3 also expands both the vehicle and property systems.

The biggest addition is Tide, the first ownable water vehicle in Neverness to Everness. Tide is a red jet ski and will be obtainable through Mystery Boxes, allowing players to travel across the new water-focused areas.

The update also adds Sirocco, a dune buggy that can be purchased using Fons, and Yesteryear, a two-person bicycle that can also be purchased with Fons.

Players who enjoy the property system can purchase Stillmeadow House, a detached home located in the Miguel District.

Stillmeadow House includes an interactive yard where players can grow crops, adding a gardening element to the existing property and City Tycoon systems.

NTE 1.3 Events and Activities

Version 1.3 includes a large event lineup spread throughout the patch.

Volley Star introduces competitive 2v2 beach volleyball, while Surf Breaker focuses on racing across the water using a jet ski.

Shipwreck Salvage lets players search the shore for cargo and upgrade materials, while Runaway Echoes challenges players to survive against waves of enemies.

Other Version 1.3 activities include Breezy Tour, Hunter’s Crucible, Beyond the Rails, and several limited double-reward periods.

The update also introduces a construction-focused Hethereau Hobby. Players will be able to load and transport materials, level terrain, and operate construction vehicles such as forklifts and dump trucks.

Combined with Duskmoor and the new water vehicles, these activities make the summer event much larger than a simple collection of limited quests.

NTE 1.3 Quality-of-Life Improvements

The update is not only about characters and events. Several smaller improvements are also coming in Version 1.3.

A new Random Outfits feature can automatically switch character clothing when logging in or changing scenes, with outfits also adapting to different locations and activities.

Players will also get a one-tap option to hide the main UI, a minimap for Pink Paws Heist, improved multiplayer tracking for Shadow Sweep, and better furniture and decoration browsing.

City Tycoon systems are also receiving adjustments, while crops grown at Stillmeadow House can be sold for Fons by spending City Stamina.

The livestream even provided an early look beyond Version 1.3, confirming that Pukaland is planned to open in Version 1.4, together with additional activities and new Anomaly Commissions.
