How to Join and Play the Event
To participate, you need to have reached Board 5. If this task is not available in your game, check if you are past this point and if your app is updated.
Once the event begins, you will be able to see four empty partner slots on the board. These represent the four themed attractions you need to build during the event. You can either invite other players to join you or accept invitations from other players.
Unlike the race event, there is no team-up phase where you can still change your teammates. Once a player accepts your invitation, the partnership is locked for the entire event. In addition, there is no solo option available in this mode. Every build must be completed together with a partner.
Step 1: Find Four Partners
First, you will need to select four partners for each of your attractions. This can be achieved by sending or accepting invitations using the green "plus" icons on your board.
Every attraction requires 80,000 points to complete. The points can be collected by making turns on the Partner Wheel, thus contributing to a progress bar. Since the number of points is quite high, the players need an even distribution. In most cases, the 50/50 strategy is used. In other words, all the players need to contribute 40,000 points. In this case, it is possible to complete the build successfully.
However, the reality is not always that perfect. It is very common to witness players struggling due to inactivity from their partner in the middle of the event. Sometimes, you have to contribute significantly more than 40,000 just to earn the last rewards. This will, in turn, affect your progress rate towards completing all four attractions before the event comes to an end.

Step 2: Collect Pet Show Tokens
After forming your team, the next and most important step is gathering Pet Show Tokens. These special event tokens are what you need to spin the Partner Wheel and earn build points.

Note: In case you are only given strangers as partners, and you do not necessarily have a mechanism of direct communication, sometimes it makes more sense not to be too active on the first day. A trick employed by many people in such instances is to be active enough to reach near the milestone, and then stop. This will force your partner to contribute in case they need to reach the reward. Some people will seek to benefit from your contributions without being too active on their part. By not being active enough, you are encouraging them to participate.
What Happens to Unused Tokens?
Typically, at the end of the event, any unused Pet Show Tokens are converted to in-game cash based on your net worth. The Pet Show Tokens won't be used for the next partner event, so make sure to spend these before the event ends.
