Ophelia Gameplay and Playstyle
Ophelia is an Ice-type Melee Fighter who functions as a Main DPS, specializing in sustained Ice DMG through short cooldown rotations and critical hits. Her gameplay revolves around activating and maintaining a self-buff called Amethyst Witch, which enhances her attacks and her entire damage output.
Amethyst Witch activates whenever Ophelia uses her Special Skill or Switch Skill, converting all her attacks to Ice DMG, increasing her Crit Rate by 15%, and enhancing her Basic Attack Crit DMG by 25% for 4 seconds. While the buff is active, alternating between the Special Skill and Basic Attacks keeps her damage and self-buff consistent.
The Special Skill can have up to two additional follow-up input after the first hit. Using all three hits continuously extends the Amethyst Witch duration, keeping the self-buff last longer but also doing so will increase the cooldown. This means cooldown management and swapping out and in with other characters on the right time is a must for Ophelia. Her Ultimate Skill is also useful because it applies Ice Affliction to enemies, reducing their Ice RES and activating the Best In Slot equipment which is the Arbiter set's 4-piece bonus. It plays a very important role in setting up her team comp's overall Ice DMG output.

The Special Skill should be the first one to be upgraded because it's the Main DMG of her whole kit, it allows for activating and extending the duration of the Amethyst Witch self-buff. Next is the Switch Skill since it lets Ophelia enter the field with the self-buff Amethyst Witch active, keeping rotations smooth. After that, upgrade the Ultimate Skill to maintain Ice Affliction uptime for team debuffs and the Arbiter 4-piece Set Bonus. Basic Attack can be left for last, as it contributes the least amount of damage scaling out of all her skills.
