Tanks
- S+ tier: Gloo, Uranus
- S tier: Terizla, Esmeralda
- A tier: Masha, Alice

Best Tanks
Gloo (S+ Tier)
Gloo has been dominating the battleground after its recent revamp and it's never been this good. He is currently a very annoying and a disaster hero for the opponent.
Uranus (S+ Tier)
With the new patch note, the meta favours the sustain-type heroes more now and who is better than Uranus at soaking up damage. The more you get hit, the more he regenerates his HP.
Other heroes
Tanks like Terizla and Esmeralda are also recommended as the anti-heal items have been nerfed. These heroes will have much more presence in the game now.
Assassins
- S+ tier: Hayabusa, Ling, Aamon
- S tier: Gusion, Joy, Lancelot
- A tier: Saber, Suyou, Hanzo
- B tier: Nolan
Best Assassins
Hayabusa (S+ tier)
Hayabusa is a Chase/Burst-type Assassin. Hayabusa has a high burst-damage potential, mobility, fast jungle clearing, and the skills to hunt down an escaping target. As good as he is, it takes a lot of practice to master all his combos.
Ling (S+ tier)
Ling is a Chase/Burst-type Assassin. This hero uses light energy for his skills. With his high mobility, damage, objective stealing ability and strong team fight capability, he is easily one of the best assassins in the game.
Other heroes
Heroes such as Aamon, Gusion and Lancelot are also recommended. After the recent patch, these three heroes are heavily buffed and can be seen more frequently on the battlefield.

Best Fighters
Alucard (S+ tier)
Alucard is a Fighter/Assassin Hero, used in the Jungle and Exp lane. This hero is a solid pick to dominate the game if the enemy team lacks Crowd Control abilities. Use emblems and items to reduce his skill cooldowns. He relies heavily on his skills for lifesteal that makes him unstoppable if fed.
Lukas (S+ tier)
Lukas is a Fighter-type hero who is played in the Jungle/EXP/Roam. He is a very versatile hero and has been dominating the battleground since his arrival. One hit from his 1st skill and the enemy is back at their base, that's how powerful he can be if he is fed.
Argus (S tier)
Argus is a Fighter-type hero used in the EXP lane. Being the only hero with INVINCIBILITY as his skill, a full build Argus with his Ult can wipe out the entire team alone. He is also good for split pushing and 1v1s. This hero struggles a bit in the early to mid-game but is feared during the late game.
Other heroes
Other heroes such as Sun, Ruby, Phoveus and Yu Zhong are also highly recommended. These heroes are highly buffed and have been dominating the current meta in the EXP lane.
Marksmen
- S+ tier: Granger, Wanwan
- S tier: Moskov, Melissa, Miya
- A tier: Clint, Irithel
- B tier: Layla, Hanabi
Best Marksmen
Wanwan (S+ tier)
Wanwan is a crazy strong Marksmen-type hero. She throws her daggers and attacks the enemy while constantly jumping around and her ult needs to be charged before using. She is currently so strong in the meta.
Miya (S+ tier)
Miya is a Marksmen-type hero, used in the gold lane. She is frankly known as The brand ambassador of MLBB. She is quite popular and has the highest number of skins for a hero in the game so don't forget to top up ML diamond to buy those. She has a fast minion clearing, invisibility, multiple targeting, high DPS and fun to play.
Other heroes
Heroes such as Granger and Melissa are also great heroes for the gold lane. They have been in the meta forever even after a lot of nerfs. Moskov is also a good pick but you have to be aware of your positioning.
Mages
- S+ tier: Cecillion, Selena, Chang’e
- S tier: Odette, Pharsa, Harith
- A tier: Lylia, Xavier
- B tier: Zhask, Kagura
Best Mages
Cecilion (S+ tier)
Cecilion is a poke/burst type mage who will show his true potential in the late game. He has very high Burst damage potential and squishy heroes can't last more than 2 of his first skill hits in the late game. He consumes a lot of mana so, be sure to build a mana regen item on him to avoid going back to the base.
Selena (S+ tier)
Selena is an Assassin-type Mage. She is one of the most lethal mages currently. She excels in dealing with damage, mobility and CCs. Selena can carry the game if played with proper techniques as switching being her abyssal form requires practice.
Other heroes
Chang’e and Odette are buffed and are in the meta now. Be sure to use them to push your rank. Chang’e got a buff on her ultimate that reduces her cooldown to almost 10-15s and the backswing on Odette’s skills have been fixed.
Conclusion
MLBB is a team-focused game where both your macro and micro skills are necessary to win games. Using these heroes, you are not guaranteed to win but you will have a better chance of ranking up fast and you will not have to rely on your clumsy random teammates to gain a victory. Also, it is important to understand each hero’s abilities and role before using them in the ranks.
