Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Guide to New Hero Suyou

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is now releasing new heroes and the next one will be Suyou, the Mask of the Immortal. This guide will contain a detailed analysis of Suyou’s skills, strategy, and possible effects on the gameplay.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Suyou Hero Overview

Suyou is considered an Assassin/Fighter type, which adds unconventional movement, short and dangerous attacks, and endurance to the battle. His suite of powers consists of transforming between mortal and immortal bodies, each providing distinct utilities based on the orientation of his talents. Suyou has the flexibility to manoeuvre in different scenarios and can play various positions in a team formation.

Abilities Breakdown

Suyou abilities break into a set of 3 abilities, here are:

Passive: Transient Immortal

Suyou's passive ability is the core of his kit, allowing him to shift between two forms:

  • Mortal Form: Activated by tap-casting any skill you currently have in your gauntlet, this grants you 40 Movement Speed Boost.
  • Immortal Form: It is set to activate whenever any of the hold-casting abilities are cast, giving 20% Damage Reduction. On the same note, Physical Attack Suyou has +20% for every 20 over and above his physical attack; he would get an added bonus of 1% DR (up to a maximum of 40%).

Unique Mechanic: Cooldown Reduction is applied to Physical Attack and this is at a ratio of 1% CDR = 3 Physical Attack.

Such passive is used by Suyou in a non-combat situation when being able to suddenly switch between speed for chasing and evading or tanker for fighting and diving.

Skill 1: Blade Surge

  • Cooldown: 6 seconds
  • Tap Cast: Suyou performs a ranged attack with his weapon that hits the target for 150-190 (+60% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage. He then blinks to the weapon’s position and slashes in the opposite direction dealing 300-380 + 120% Extra Physical Attack Physical Damage.
  • Hold Cast: Suyou rushes in the target direction and strikes for 150-190 (+60% Bonus Physical Attack) Physical Damage on those on the way. After the impact, he becomes stunned and deals 300-380 (+120% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the enemy hero and the enemies within the rectangular range, stunning them for 0.5 seconds. Charge distance varies with hold time in that as hold time increases, then the charge distance also increases.

Blade Surge is useful for both movement and controlling crowds, making it a valuable tool for Suyou. The tap cast is an option for swift engages or disengages, and the hold cast is an effective nuke for shocking enemies or providing a shield for friends.

Skill 2: Soul Sever

  • Cooldown: 6 seconds
  • Tap Cast: Suyou executes a wide area of effect skill, an arc-like swing of Great Swordsman that hits everything in its path, causing 290-450 (+200% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage while Suyou is airborne, moving backwards. During this movement, he can cast other skills as well.
  • Hold Cast: Suyou can use Immortal’s special ability 3 times to unleash the Cleave. The first two hits have 180-260% + 150% Extra Physical Attack Physical Damage each, and the final hit is 360-520% + 150% Extra Physical Attack Physical Damage and restores 150 (+50% Extra Physical Attack) HP.

Soul Sever gives the ability that deal damage to the enemy and provide additional health for Suyu. The first hit of the tap cast offers high damage with an additional mobility boost, while the second hit from the hold cast ensures that you can carry on trading as well as heal yourself.

Skill 3: Evil Queller

  • Tap Cast: Suyou performs an incantation, inflicting 280% – 400% (+ 80% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the enemies in the rectangular area and weakening the enemies’ speed by 80% (the effect decreases in a slope of 0.5 seconds).
  • Hold Cast: Suyou performs a ranged attack and strikes one target for 280-400 (+80% of bonus Physical Attack) Physical Damage. Its range and damage also increase with the duration of the charge (which reaches up to 250 per cent damage).

Evil Queller is capable of both seizing control of the area and dealing from afar, applying pressure at a distance. The tap cast is fantastic for focusing on enemies or slowing them down, and the hold cast is great for poking low-health targets or putting pressure from a safe distance.
