New Hero: Phoenix (Jean Grey)

Season 3 introduces Phoenix, a ranged duelist infused with the devastating power of the Phoenix Force. Her kit allows her to either charge headfirst into clustered enemies or flank them with agile, disruptive mobility.

• Unique Mechanic: “Trend Reaction” for satisfying, strategic gameplay.
• Ultimate: Phoenix merges with the Phoenix Force to clear summons and dish out massive AoE damage.

Team-Up Abilities Revamped

With Season 3 comes 4 new team-up abilities, while 2 are being retired. Over 70% of team-ups have been reworked since launch, giving you more synergy options and strategic depth. Highlights include:

• Primal Flame (Phoenix + Wolverine): Grants Wolverine burning AoE and lifesteal.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Release Date

Season 3: The Abyss Awakens is officially set to launch on July 11, 2025 (UTC), as confirmed in the latest trailer from Marvel Rivals. Players can expect a standard maintenance period prior to the update going live, during which the game will be temporarily unavailable while the patch is deployed.

About Season 3 Battle Pass Changes

Season 3’s Battle Pass keeps its 10-costume format and pricing, but now offers more Chrome Tokens to better match the shorter season duration. Key improvements:

• Weekly Missions are now persistent—complete them anytime.
• Season Missions offer extra Chrome Tokens for long-term players.
• Mission rewards are better distributed, with "dead" missions removed.
